Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. GroovePunk is a DJ based in West London and the host of 'All About House' - a weekly show live on GrooveLondon Radio every Saturday 4pm - 6pm GMT. After falling in love with House music and buying his first pair of turntables over ten years ago, GroovePunk has played a variety of venues in and around London as well as on a number of Internet radio stations. Growing up just outside London in the mid to late 90s, GroovePunk witnessed the transition from the acid house era of the late 80s/early 90s to the UK/US garage and trance-heavy early 00s. In the early nineties, I've played professionally in Bratislava, at the time when the country begun it's transition to new and better times. Early on, I have tried to find my own style and take the extra effort to play stuff that nobody played, especially on the radio. We used to buy DMC previews from London, but more often than not we were on the road to Munich, and Vienna to buy stuff that was not on the charts. House music back then was simple. In 92, I've found my way to the US as a student and begun in Brooklyn with nothing but bag of clothes and about a grand in my pocket. It was an awesome time, the music scene in NYC was great, Funk Master, Junior Vasquez, Chris the Greek, Hot 97. I've spent a decade studying and working in the city, and eventually landed in Charlotte, NC. Once you were a DJ, you will never look at it the same way, you will always seek that new sound and inspiration. This platform allows me to experience that feeling once more!
