Bouncy Ben Has always had a passion from music and started out singing and playing the piano, trumpet, keyboard, organ and glockenspiel and practicing radio DJing as a boy. He had 10 years background in studio sound growing up, mastering digital continuous mixes (before it was fashionable!) and producing trance and hard house tunes. He discovered the wacky world of Sundissential quite early on thus falling for Hard Dance hook line and sinker although he plays all types of other genres including electro / tech house, trance, hardstyle, hardcore and gabber. He got his first set of decks at the tender age of 18 in 2004. By the time he was 20 (2006) he secured himself a residency at Stafford’s only LGBT venue and then moved on to promote his own events under the tag line Bouncy Ben Presents... He spent 2 years resident at another event in Stafford and another 2 years across another 2 events in Tamworth, bringing culture and decent music to less privileged areas in the midlands. He has also been seen playing in London and Birmingham at The Que Club, Custard Factory and Subway City to name but a few. He went on to university to study triple honours in lighting, live sound and stage management. At present he is a MadFam radio resident. Watch this space!!!! As Bouncy Ben is proving himself not only as a DJ but also as a technician and promoter!!!!

I first realised I wanted to be a DJ at the age of 17 when I first discovered hard house but I have only been mixing the past 5 years DJ Incentive, DJ Xsyte and DJ CRE are my inspirations, as they have all helped me along the way to get me to where I am today. My preferences are hard house and bounce, but I enjoy mixing many other genres from electro to hardstyle to hardcore. I have DJed several times during my MadFam residency and take great pleasure and pride in all the sets I do. I find it a great honour and a privilege to be named one of the MadFam resident DJs.

“Music is my therapy. I love getting lost in music and the joyful feelings it stirs up in my chest. “ NixXxstaa (a.k.a Nikki Bothwick-Adams) A graduate of Lisa Lashes School of Music. Her love of music started out at a young age when she learned to play the recorder at school, and then went on to learn the saxophone too. Playing in an Orchestra at the age of 12. Nikki’s love of dance music happened in 2006 when she was at a friend’s house and they were playing Lisa Lashes Extreme Euphoria. From that moment she wanted to be a part of the scene and learn how to DJ. In the same year, Nikki found a copy of Virtual DJ and started to learn how to mix tunes together. She also had a regular show on an online radio station “Scouse-Nation” playing all sorts of genres from Scouse to Hardcore and Hardhouse. In 2014, Nikki met “The Madfams” A group of like-minded clubbers who met up at events around the UK. She used to attend after parties where there would be a set of decks. Nikki would take the time to learn how to use them asking for tips from her friends. She realised she caught the bug, and wanted her own set up, so she saved up for a few months, and eventually bought herself some Pioneer CDJ 1000s and a DJM 600 mixer. Every night after work, you would find Nikki in her bedroom practicing until the early hours. This soon paid off and in 2016, she was asked to play her first gig for Hard Hush in Brighton. Nikki has also played at the Madfam Reunion at 414, Brixton and Marvellous Minds, Stoke- on –Trent. In the summer of 2018, Nikki saw an opportunity to join Lisa Lashes School of Music. She applied and was super excited when she got the call to say she had a place on the course. The course has helped her with sharpening up her skills, and learning some new techniques with the mixer. The tutors must have noticed, as she was given the opportunity at Unity of Sound (the event Nikki and the other students created) to go B2B with one of her Idols in the Hardhouse scene “BK”.
