I was born in Quebec, Canada. Very young, I developed an interest in dance music, it was always the most rhythmic songs that held my attention on the radio. My first 12 '' I bought was “Love Is In Control” by Donna Summer in 1982, but it was in 1987 that I really started my vinyl collection at a store named Import-O-Son where I also learned the basis of DJing. In 1988 I bought my first mixer that I connected with two family’s turntables. In 1990, I bought my own sound system and my own turntables, I was then addicted. In 1991, I began my series of mix tape called Martymix. I was selling for the bargain price of... $7. I also started my short DJ career; I was doing occasional replacement in a club for teenagers. I also made some mobile disco parties, my biggest being the Christmas party of policemen and firefighter of Quebec City. In 1994, a fire severely damaged my vinyl collection and my sound system. Also, having to start from scratch ended my DJ aspirations. I did get the opportunity to work with Beaugarte’s DJ Christian Pelletier in Ste-Foy. I remember once on a Monday night when there was a lot more customers than usual, I was requisitioned to play music to people who wanted to dance (there was never a DJ or dance on Mondays). This was my last live performance. I eventually returned to school in computer science and started my real career in life. In 2012, being nostalgic of DJing, I bought a small iDJ console to get back in the "beat", but it was not until early 2014 that I really got to work producing a mix of my favorite 50 songs of the year 2013. I then got the idea of reproducing my Martymix tapes with my console, and later launched my series club-a-holic to get in today’s sounds. Although today's technologies greatly facilitate the work of the DJ, I always have great pleasures behind my console and my computer trying to create the best transitions for my listeners.

CIGAMRACSO started his musical career in 1989 as DJ for important clubs in Madrid. Nightclubs like OYE, ATTICA, CIRCUS and PACHA VILLABA, OKI as well as others. He also developed his career as a radio presenter on TOP 40 and Antenna 3. That decade (wonderful decade of the 80s) without doubt left an unforgettable impression on those who lived through dance music that was probably the most creative ever produced. During the 90s he continued both as a radio DJ and as resident DJ at clubs such as KASIM, the biggest super-nightclub on the Spanish Mediterranean. In 1992 he moved to Ohio (USA) where he immersed himself in the house and funky culture. Two years later, having returned to Spain, his professional development rocketed as he developed his own productions and worked at elite clubs particularly in IBIZA where he became a reference in house music. He has developed his own style defined as FRESH HOUSE... Powerful rythmic bases combined with musical samples from the 70s and 80s: electronic and Italy Dance - and this thanks to the mastery of systems like CDJ 2000, DJM 2000, remix system RMX 1000 and others. His sessions are bursts of fresh air in revolutionary non-stop sets!

Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.
