Addicted to music since the age of 15, listening to it, playing it, and enjoying it to the fullest! I took my first steps in the world of local radio stations with music styles such as New Wave, New Beat, and later more danceable styles such as Garage, Disco, Soul, Funk, House and more... My music style produced the necessary decibels through many speakers in living rooms, organized parties, and discotheques/clubs. Mark Maddox is a Dj from the Northwest of England with over 25yrs experience. Starting out as an 18yr old doing warm up sets for the 96.7FM Radio City Dj's in Mr Smiths Warrington, he soon started getting a reputation for being a diverse Dj as he mixed between genres to build up an energy on the dance floor. That quickly saw Mark being asked to do some warm up sets for the cult tv show Hitman And Her with Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachen. Going past the 90's Dance and Rave scene, Mark fell in love with House music. That passion allowed Mark to grow even more as a Dj and it wasn't too long before he was doing full House sets for some of the worlds most renowned brands. Over the years Mark has travelled across the UK and Europe playing on gigs alongside the likes of David Morales, Erick Morillo, Chicane, Pete Tong, Tall Paul, Boy George, Judge Jules, Whelan and Di Scala (now Camelphat), Anton Powers, David Dunne, Dave Graeme, Esquire, K Klass, Pianoman, Awesome 3, Dream Frequency, Dancing Divas, and many more... as well as playing sets with some of the worlds best Sax, Percussionists, and Electric Violinists to ever grace the dance music industry. Mark has performed in front of crowds ranging from 50 to 10,000 for club brands and venues such as Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Gatecrasher, Enigma Ibiza (ex Kanya Beach Club), Es Paradis Ibiza, Eden Ibiza (where he performed the closing set of the summer in 2019), Ibiza Rocks (for which he held a residency in 2019), Float Your Boat Ibiza, Beat Herder Festival, Widcombe Festival (where he closed the stage after Basement Jaxx), and the sell out Indian Summer Festival (where Mark's brand Royal House held their own tent), and Utopia Ibiza Festival where Mark has headlined for the past 2 years (2021 & 2022). I started my career as a DJ in the early eighties in various venues in Madrid and its surroundings. The best known were Ku Madrid, Limon y Menta, Premiere, Botticelli, Tuareg... I also played on the Costa del Sol in the mid-eighties in places like Revolution Disco. Later I went to radio where I was coordinator of Cadena100 (national network) organizing parties in various venues such as Pachá in the Sierra de Madrid. At the beginning of the 2000s I started directing radio stations until 2010 when I became director of a TV group. In 2021 I decided to leave the world of communication and returned to my first passion: Being a DJ. Since that moment I have been a DJ in various venues in Madrid, Marbella and Mapalomas. My last sessions have been here, in places like Black Bulldog Bar and Peaches & Cream and private parties. I also work in my small studio where I do sessions like the ones you can hear on my profiles. Ferris B has been living for music ever since was old enough to turn on the radio & switch stations always looking for a good tune. Back then we used to record mix tapes (although not mixed) which basically was a recording of the latest tunes from the Top 100 on a Sunday. Progressing to a mobile Karaoke / Disco set for the late school/uni years those were fun days. Before finally, a start to club DJ'ing on the nightclub scene back in 2001 with a first residency in the legendary Candystore & than Funkissential (sister label of the world famous Sundissential). That's when a love for dance vinyl filled up the floor space around home. With early club days genre of Hard House & Trance a preference, over time the sound has been mellowed somewhat to include a more soulful sound and also very lately, go right back to the disco/karaoke party days.
