DJ HafDer : 15 years of djing in different clubs in Belgium. (79 - 94) I´ve started my career playing disco then new wave,later new beat ,house, dance and Latino. From 93 my wife and I had a cocktailbar for several years at the Belgian coast which didn´t leave much time for a professional dj career, but I still spinned the records from time to time on several parties. After selling the bussines we moved to the beautiful and sunny Island Fuerteventura - Islas Canarias, where I still do some gigs and make mixes as a hobby. Creator of megamixes, for personal use, local & regional Dutch radio stations. As of September 2019 producer of mixes, remixes and megamixes (called “Monsterjam” by DMC) for the British DJ only remix service DMC Ltd. UK. The banner you see above are a few of the full-album mixes I produced for DMC and were released on the DMC label. They’re all ‘Monsterjams’ as DMC calls the full-album megamixes they release. Unfortunately DMC went into a voluntary liquidation in March 2023, were taken over by a specially for that purpose founded company called Futureverse Ltd. but eventually dissolved in the beginning of this year 2025.

Mikey-J here now as a lot of folk mixin its all digital ,,i use vinyl decks sometimes to get samples from old tunz then use traktor pro along with vdj pro ,as you can see i will have a go at mixing anything i just love music ,i not gonna say iam great at mixing , so any feedback about what iam mixing or how my mix sounds is allways welcome, thanks to all who listen or download any of my mixes,

bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

An old PC (sometimes Laptop) and "Let's Mix" Mixing and Editor, a pair of mini-speakers/headphones and lots and lots of patience (for trial and error of selecting compatible songs)...That's all :-P

House is this strange cooking of different flavours, able to make Loleatta Holloway sing on strings loop from Tchaïkovski's Concerto N°1, backed by the "Let no man put asunder" bassline from First Choice and the "Let's all chant" disco beat from Michael Zager Band. And it works. Bon appétit ! Back to 88, when I've discovered House music, with the first british House tracks (Beatmasters, S-Express...) made with sampling technique, followed by the brillant 90's Garage productions by the late Godfather Frankie Knuckles. A golden era. All those pionneers have built my inspiration. That's the reason why my tracks mix Garage harmonies with sampling collage coming from my collection of oldies and classic records (disco, funk, soul, classical music, etc.)
