I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. Khoza here! Born and bred in the Province of Legends, Eastern Cape. From birth to early childhood I lived in Flagstaff then later we moved to Mthatha. Currently based in the nations capital, Pretoria. My first love of music was Reggae largely due to influence from my Uncles and then I progressed into R&B. I caught the House bug when I came across the album from The Heavy Dee Krew's album entitled Mid-Tempo House Hits 45 BPM. After that came DJ Pippi and Jamie Lewis with their In the Mix album. From then on I was hooked for life. I love all things music. Music has this supernatural ability to heal, whether you are broken hearted or just woke up in foul mood. Alex Dony [Randy Bajorat] was born 1993 in Chemnitz/Rabenstein. His first experience on the mix he gained on youtube. The first Dj Programm that Dj Sidebexx used was the Freeware '' MJ - STUDIO 1.09''. After a time he took up professional software such as Virtual Dj or Scratch Live. His music genre was directed at the beginning of the Housemusic. He recordet his mixes and distributed them on the web. He got a few fans and it was very much worth. So he expanded his music genre. It came about: Black Music, Hip-Hop and Funk He bought hardware like laptops, speakers, microphone, mixing consoles and lighting consoles. He recently created every month a new House and black mix.
