I've been into dance music since the 80s and have been lucky enough to be involved in the scene for many years. I still love mixing and am now starting to produce my own tracks. I got into mixing when owning a music room on Paltalk about 10 years ago, and got curious how people were playing and mixing music, so eventually I acquired a software program called Traktor, which was fun to experiment with, but quite hard work. I managed to master the basics, but not a fully fledged mixer. In 2008 I met my partner DJ Graphite, who introduced me to Virtual DJ, which was a lot more user friendly, he showed me the ropes, and the rest is history as they say, and my love of music has grown more and more. I dont put myself out there as a proper DJ, as i dont use decks or CDJs etc, but think that I am pretty good at mixing and mashing, as I do love creating mashups lol. An aficionado of all things house since Chicago to London and back to NYC. Mastering turntables, drum machines and samplers up through currently utilizing virtual DJ software mixes. Heavily influenced by Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, M.A.W. & the “Strictly Rhythm Label” to name a few… I mix purely for the love of the art form and my inner self-expression, keeping the spirit of underground house alive and thriving!
