I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

Ferris B has been living for music ever since was old enough to turn on the radio & switch stations always looking for a good tune. Back then we used to record mix tapes (although not mixed) which basically was a recording of the latest tunes from the Top 100 on a Sunday. Progressing to a mobile Karaoke / Disco set for the late school/uni years those were fun days. Before finally, a start to club DJ'ing on the nightclub scene back in 2001 with a first residency in the legendary Candystore & than Funkissential (sister label of the world famous Sundissential). That's when a love for dance vinyl filled up the floor space around home. With early club days genre of Hard House & Trance a preference, over time the sound has been mellowed somewhat to include a more soulful sound and also very lately, go right back to the disco/karaoke party days. Music has been a place of inner peace and I hope you enjoy my sharing of it! Born and Raised in NYC and now in the ATL. I have been mixing since I was 14 years old. As a young fella I can remember watching DJ Starski, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, DJ The Red Alert to name a few hooking their equipment to the lamp poles in the parks in the South Bronx and Harlem it was on. The MCs were hyping or moving the crowd for the Deejays. When I moved from the Bronx to Queens, I joined the Gemini Crew and I was DJ Johnny Quick on the 1 and 2 with the cross fader. My Dad owned a night club in Brooklyn, so music was everywhere. As I got older and started going to the club scene in NYC there was one DJ that was such a technician and I often called him a Scientist the Legendary DJ Larry Levan famous for the Paradise Garage. He told a story when he mixed -- depending on current events, highs and lows in the City. As a DJ we must feel the mode and pulse on the crowd and provide them with a theme...
