BambooRider
BambooRider

About Us Bamboo Rider was born in the autumn of 2010 as a ride wear brand prepared to take responsibility for the impact their products have on the environment. Whether you ride in the ocean, in the mountains or in the urban landscape, whatever your preferred method of expression, protecting the environments we use every day is what we're all about. Our aims and goals are to design products replacing as many environmentally harmful materials as possible, with functional, eco-friendly alternatives, delivering performance, great design, durability, and style in a sustainable way, reducing environmental impact.   Although every effort is made to remain completely green in our quest, at some point there has to be compromise and a balance has to be struck between ethics and functionality for our products and brand to succeed. We only select and source materials and products from factories using only renewable energy who are regulated and accredited by the Fair Wear foundation, Soil Association, the Carbon Trust and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).   We've carefully selected our printing methods to minimise the impact on the environment by using inks that take less time to cure so they spend less time in the ovens, saving electricity and making use of an in-built filter system to ensure no inks escape into the local environment. Bamboo Rider are passionate about championing unique talent from around the world, supporting riders, photographers, artists, musicians, designers and DJ’s. Raising their profile and bringing attention to their work. We currently have individuals representing the brand from the UK, France, Norway, Switzerland, Ibiza, Australia and New Zealand. We regularly sponsor music and sporting events throughout the UK and Europe. We have a dedicated and passionate social network following on both facebook and twitter, with our fan base spanning the UK, Europe, United States, South America and South East Asia. We work closely with Sports Associations in Scotland and France, such as Snow Sport Scotland and SC Meribel on their quest to develop the countries freshest new talent and regularly sponsor their Ski & Snowboard events. Our DJ’s regularly play parties in some of the top venues around. Headlining our own events and supporting acts including Roger Sanchez, The Dub Pistols, Ed Solo & The Skool of Thought, Darrison, Krafty Kuts, Skitz, A-Skillz , The Free Masons, Duke…the list is endless… Bamboo Rider doesn’t take it’s self as seriously as some others. We want to make a positive impact, without lecturing people and delivering a science lesson to every customer we interact with. We want to make rad threads for rad people, who have respect for the planet we all share. We make eco ride and slide wear…! “Let the nonsense commence”.    Visit our website @ www.bamboorider.co.uk Follow us on Facebook @ www.Facebook.com/Bamboorider Follow us on Twitter @ www.twitter.com/thebamboorider

MARCO-CAPOZZELLA
MARCO-CAPOZZELLA

Marco was born in 1977. He was raised in Edinburgh Scotland's capital city brought up on a diet of clubs and raves and the free party seen, Marco’s first real break came in the late 90’s when he entered the Vestax DJ Mixing Competition which he was runner up in the contest, this raised his profile amongst local promoters. Which lead to him being offered a number of gigs, some of which became residencies, around his home town of Edinburgh and various other towns and Cities in Scotland this also led to him supporting artist like Mr C, Kenny Larkin, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Mathew Herbert, Felix The Housecat, Seb Fontaine, Jim Shaft Ryan, Murray Richardson and Timo Mass. Marco's rise from total obscurity has been achieved due to his natural ability, genuine enthusiasm, and his constant desire to improve his craft.Technical excellence is very important to Marco, so when he is not playing out you will find him practicing, mixing and experimenting with various styles, endeavouring to constantly improve his already very impressive D.J. capabilities. Marco describes his sound as Mainroom Groovy Business a bit of tech a bit of house which meet in the middle some where and the outcome is magical , he mixes in a style that moves and grabs any dance floor, no matter what direction he chooses to take it, once he has captured you with his inventive style there is no escape until he has spun his last tune .Coming straight from the dance floor, Marco knows instinctively what it is a crowd wants, and how to deliver it, his genuine love for music is abundantly clear. Marco has also been a reviewer for English based TTR Magazine. being in constant contact with the artist’s and labels he has grown to love was a fantastic experience for him and getting to know the people behind the music and the labels has been great fun ,and  the experience was invaluable “ I love music, I just could not imagine even one day with out some form of music in my life” Over the last 13 years Marco has held residencies and spun at some fantastic club nights: ,Tokyoblu @ Cabaret Voltaire, Dirty Habits New Zealand, Music Matters Sydney, Edinburgh Rocks Various, Murray Richardson's Rebel waltz @ c2, Colours Scotland various venues, Hed kandi various venues, Taste @ the Honeycomb "old and new" and Wilkie House & Cabaret Voltaire music box @ Berlin, Space Invaders @ Space, Phunkup various, Musika @ Liquid Room Acetate @ Liquid Room Retrospective Of House @ Berlin Bang @ Club Noa Beatroot @ Luna formely ego, House Technique @ Ego Flaunt @ Massa Hotty Notty @ Berlin Atomic Baby @ La Belle Angelle House Sessions @ the Honeycomb Sparkle @ the Q Bar Strictly Frisky @ City In Glasgow: Fruitfly @ the Arches, flaunt @ massa, Miss Money penny's Scotland, Cream Scotland Various, Aurall @ Mas, Cosmic Disco @ vaults, Cream @ Liquidrooms, Music box @ Berlin, Edinburgh Boat Party, Change @ Space. Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I have had a music studio called Soundfactory for about 20 years and produce tracks and mix different tapes Nu Disco Deep House Soul Funk Jazz everything I like and if you feel like it you are welcome

Paris Liamis, Timos - Hey Hoe feat Julian Smith Hello and thanks for viewing my profile. I am basically looking to get gigs through some shameless self promotion so if you can help in any way, feel free to get in contact. I am aiming to update my profile regularly with new mixes and a monthly chart so you know what I am playing and how I play it. I have been DJing for over ten years and play a wide variety of music including, house, tech-house, minimal, techno, breaks and nu-disco. I am not a genre purist and usually include music from a number of different sub-genres when I am playing. There is too much good music across multiple genres to ignore. I am currently based in London and my aim is to obtain a new residency or secure gigs, so feel free to get in contact if you can help.  Cheers Aaron To many to list.
