From Vauxhall NJ where I first heard a DJ by the name of George Potter who helped me create my first mix with two turn tables at the age of 13. Then there was Mark Thompson who helped me polish up my skills on blending. Other mentors to me are Vernon Roberts, Phase III Disco aka DJ Butch, and Larry Morman. But it was when I went to my first night club New Experience and listened to Mark Thompson mix with 3 turntables and a reel to reel and said this will be me someday. Then there was the Paradise Garage, what an experience. Larry Levan is a one of kind. It was when I heard him for the first time and learned it’s not about the mix but about the music and how you control the music. I took that being said to Germany where I spent 4 ½ years in the army DJ’ing around Europe in several night clubs and raves. The way you control the music puts you in complete control of the crowed. So I would just like to say to up and coming DJ’s out there, it’s not always your mix but the song you play and how you play it. The right song played the right way will always move crowed!!

I live in Barcelona..I love music..I'm very influed by Black Music..Rhythm and Blues, Acid Jazz, and of course Soulful and Vocal House..It all started about 20yrs ago when the Acid House scene started, then I went on a Holiday to Ibiza where i enjoyed summer nights dancing music.. Born as part of the Generation X era, Jeffrey – better known as Alides – grew up in the golden age of house music. Long nights in smoky clubs, hypnotic beats, and that magnetic energy on the dance floor shaped his musical DNA. While others were dancing, he was usually standing close to the DJ booth, watching closely, listening carefully, trying to understand the magic happening behind the decks.Eventually curiosity turned into passion. Jeffrey bought his first DJ setup and started mixing himself, guided not by digital tools or algorithms, but by pure instinct. In those days it was all about feeling the music, selecting the right track at the right moment, and building a journey that could move a crowd.His style developed around that feeling: deep, emotional house that allows people to lose themselves on the dance floor — that moment where the music takes over and it feels like you’re dancing alone in your own world.Over time, Jeffrey had the opportunity to play in several clubs, sharing his sound and energy with different crowds. But life, like music, has its own rhythm.
