Pair of Pioneer CDJ 350, DJM 350 Mixer and M-Audio BX5 Studio Monitors bag 1 - Deep Soulful/Tech/Afro House bag 2 - Hip Hop, RnB, Dancehall, UK Funky, Kwaito Born and bred in Bloemfontein, South Africa, currently living in the UK. Developed my passion for house music in the late 90's when the genre started gaining momentum in South Africa. It was through the influence of some of South Africa's pioneers of House Music, namely, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, DJ Khabzela, Oskido and DJ Monde, to mention just a few. While House Music remains my main music of choice, I have also dabbled with a variety of urban genres, incl. Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and UK Funky. It was through Urban music where I had the opportunity to DJ at some of the South Coast's popular nightclubs. I currently run a series of mixtapes, namely, South Africa Deep series, Stebo Goes Deep series and the seasonal Soulful and Jazzy House series. Ciao mi chiamo Piero Cossu, seguo la Musica Funk dalla fine degli anni 70 grazie ad una radio locale che trasmetteva nella piccola cittadina dove vivevo, Radio "E" dove la "E" sta per Explosion . All'età di 15 anni mi sono appassionato al mondo della discoteca continuando ad ascoltare oltre al Funk anche il Rock , scegliendo dopo qualche anno ed escursioni sonore il Soul ed il Jazz . Il mondo della disco mi ha catturato fondendo nella nascente House tutti i suoni che avevano caratterizzato gli ascolti della mia infanzia. Comincio ad ascoltare i primi Dj della capitale Romana all'epoca il Mitico Marco Trani , Francesco Borgese e Claudio Cataldi che preferivo ad altri . Da loro ascolto la tecnica di fusione dei vari brani il Mixaggio. Da allora dopo aver passato più di 15 anni nei club prima come cliente poi come Dj la passione non è cambiata e rimane più viva che mai. Dopo un'interruzione apparente nel senso che non ho più frequentato eventi nè Club in veste di cliente Qualcosa si smuove . La Mia scelta musicale rimane la stessa arricchita da influenze elettronico Tribali, ed ambienti Deep. Quì troverete i Dj Set che preparo per una Piccola Radio di Provincia RCZ .
