DJ Kidd Kurrupt was born on Dec 8,1987 in LaPlata Maryland.At the tender age of ten I started dj'ing for the very first time in June 1,1998 at a underground reggea bashment an after my first gig I was hooked. I found out at a young age that I had a ear for music and a talent for mixing differnt genres of music like old school hip hop,reggae, and funk. My father was a DJ at the time also and he noticed that I was practicing on the turntables every chance that I got. My father started me off with a few gigs on saturdays at local block parties during the summer time.After a few gigs I started to make a name for myself in the neighborhood as the young kidd that can put it down on the turntables. A few years went by and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt started to get more shows and a large following in the underground reggeaton scene and techno raves. I soon started to draw hundreds of people to my live sets. One day I met a club promoter while networking at a local mall, the two exchanged numbers and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt invited him out to watch him perform at a show. When the club promoter saw the way I showed my skills, worked the crowd, and my ablilities with mixing and scratching; he decided to give me- this young and upcoming DJ a chance to spin at one of the biggest dance clubs in Maryland at the time. I play all forms of trance music like uplifting trance, vocal trance,progressive trance and psy trance.I also play wide variety of music such as oldschool/newschool Hiphop, R&B, Soul, Nu-Soul, Funk, Oldies electro, dubstep, Rap, Underground Hiphop, Reggae, Culture Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Culipso, Ragga, Ragga Jungle, tech house and technomusic. I can alos mix it up with Trance, Techno, Dance, Reggeaton, Salsa, Dirty South Rap, and Hindu music! Agé de 15 ans, Bourguignon depuis toujours Deejay Eliot à toujours aimer la musique. Sa passion pour la musique à toujours été présente au fond de lui et ne tarda pas se révéler a lui comme une évidence. La musique et notamment le monde de la nuit commencèrent à devenir sa seule échappatoire et il y consacra très vite tout son temps libre. Son admiration pour les plus grands dj le pousse à mixer seul pour son propre plaisir. Le besoin de mixer deviens pour lui toujours plus présent depuis ce temps la... Dj Eliot sait qu’il lui reste encore énormement de travail devant lui, en attendant il mix et remix les plus grands hits existant afin de progresser chaque jours un peu plus et d'assouvir sa passion pour son plus grand bonheur : Faire danser les gens au rythme de la musique !! Il anime des soirées pour des particuliers en attendant qu’on le laisse montrer de quoi il est capable, et donc gagne ainsi de l’experience auprès de publiques très différents les uns que les autres... I love trance and how it makes me feel.. When I wake up in the morning, making a new mix is all I could think about. When I finish a new mix, I hope when others listen to it can feel the emotions that I put into my mixes.. If someone were to tell me, Hey..I love your mix.. That's enough to make my day...
