He started mixing in the mid 80s spinning a pair of technics and playing in local radios. He began to play in clubs at the end of 1991 in a famous Italian club. Since then almost 50 consolles have seen Simone Sole playing and many people hands up for him. Though he usually plays in Italy, in the past he made some gig in Ibiza and London. He's currently playing in several clubs around Italy and hosting some radio shows, podcasts and dj mixes. With ten years he begun to play drums. Two years later he discovered his love for djing. At this point his passion for electronic music grows constantly, till to his first own production ideas, which he has realized then in the age of seventeen. 2008 he decided to go for Audioengineer studies. After he has finished the studies, he rent a studio in Berlin. With influnces from Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ralf Hildenbeutel, Klaus Jankuhn, Hardy Hard , Todd Terje or Todd Terry he’s developing his sound. 2013 he has had his debut release on 99 waves with the sunstroke EP and his Album “Klimaanlage” on Clubstream Mix. In June 2014 he released the “Palm EP” on Bounce House Recordings. After this release his music becomes deeper and he did really important steps to develope his new sound. So the next decision was to change the artist name to B Selekt and he stands now for a real wide range sound which belongs always to the Dancefloor.

I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.
