Ed soon transitioned away from daily band practices in steamy warehouses to settle into a more family suited 9-5 type lifestyle. although still desiring a musical outlet; Ed immersed himself in the exploding DowntownOrlando dance music scene. before long his long friend Keith Kreiner introduced him to 2 Technics 1200's, a mixer and a phat vinyl collection. soon special ed had tables of his own, records and not long after that he was moving crowds wherever he could find speakers and decks, around 92-94. later he made a name for himself by pioneering the groundbreaking FOUNDATION RADIO 96.9FM, underground pirate radio station in Orlando Florida. he would later signto and release records on Kaleidoscope records, Florida's leading most recognizable label for dope electro and funky breaks, Special Ed was able to capitalize on his success, and he has enjoyed gigs all over central and north Florida. then moving to south Florida, the self titled home of the motherfucking bass, and they were ill prepared for the pirate radio guru's blend of high energy electro breaks and higher energy live shows and dj sets. don' blink, or you might miss what this crowd pleasing over-the-top performer will do next;now in 2010 he is living back in his childhood home of Merritt island, Florida with the love of his life and partner-in-crime the serial killerknown as M. Fine(real name!), and to his surprise the kids with the systems are blasting funky breaks and dance music. will Ed attempt to conquer the space coast? or spend all of his time fishing? if you've seen his family fishing pictures. it's obvious ed has channeled his inner central Florida native self. Hiowever, Ed is still in recovery from a terrible medical tragedy in 2009, ED is still partially diasbled as the result of a traumatic stroke dueb toundiagnosed herditary high blood pressure. now Ed has returned to music again to provide self-comfort and in honor of that renewal on 03072010 Ed released to the public a FREE MP3 on soundcloud. it's an exclusive advance track from his album: The Breakers Code. the track titledBreakdancers ready? epitomizes Ed's desire to compose music, rooted in the older artistic expressions that made an impact on him at an early age. from the days of scoring a refrigerator box, and blasting Siberian Knights through an old boom box, and trying to master the windmill until long after the street lights went dark. to the days of special Ed the family man, still passionate for music, and with something artistic left to say. message me for bookings. currently performinglive vinyl/cd dj sets and live p.a.titled:Breakdancers ready with additional performers(subject to availability) ::::::Duke Skyjacker::::::transmission begin:::: I HAVE HIJACKED ED'S BRAIN. Danz aka Dan Rees started dj'ing through being involved in putting on free parties in the south west of England, back in the early 90's. Since then he has formed a style for himself that bounces from Hip-hop and Dubstep through to Breaks and Electro with the emphasis on that party vibe."I play a lot of different genre's but funky house is probably my favorite. I really enjoy playing long sets to get a groove going on and make people move. Music has always been a big part of my life and I'm really lucky I can involve 2 of my biggest passions by snowboarding in the day and DJ'ing in the Alpes by night....."Recently Danz has been touring the French Alp's with Internationally acclaimed DJ's and acts such as: Krafty Kutz, A Skillz, The Freestylers, Dub Pistols, Yoda, Benji Boko where his versatile and eclectic music taste has proved that he can play with the finest, whether he's warming up the crowd to a frenzy or finishing the night and turning the dance floor into a sweat pit, the essence of a party vibe is always with him.Check out his facebook page for info on gigs and new mixeswww.facebook.com/akaDanz

Gremlins shoutcast addresshttp://www.shoutcast.com/Internet-Radio/Gremlin%20RadioDJXXhan Welcome to Florida My first commercially available mix.http://mixes.beatport.com/#mix/2386 Support breakbeat artists 90% of the proceeds go to the label an artist. Brought up on hip hop.New to DJing. Old Skool EDM fan. I was a hard core raver in Tampa back in the 90's. My first exposure to EDM was back in Tampa Bay at a teen club in Brandon called OFF limits. . Tracks like James Brown is dead, dominator, out of space, and go speed racer. First time I heard it I was like wow this is incredible. I started hitting Tampa night clubs like the Krush in downtown Tampa where mostly hip hop and booty music was being played. But every so often they would throw in some EDM like let me be your fantasy,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and planet soul. My love for EDM grew. I attended my first late night at a club in Tampa called Ozone. I was confused it was 4am Sunday morning what the hell am I and all these people doing partying at this hour. My cousin car was towed we left at about 5 and over all it was not a good experience. A few months later I met an exotic dancer and we become very close friends. She was a total raver. She use to come home Sunday morning in the best mood wide awake and offered to take me to a place called the Fantasy Ranch. Now I get it. I feel in love with the scene the vibe and the people. Never in my life had I felt so accepted. I attended the Fantasy Ranch almost every weekend after that except when there was a festival going on. The scene became my life. All week I would look forward to Saturday night. When I say the scene was my life I am not exaggerating. I became involved in illegal activities at these events. Many times during rave years i did want to start djing. I was just to involved in other aspects of the scene I just never got to it. In 2001 after many arrests, probation and house arrest I was finally forced into early retirement by HCSO and the FDLE. I ended up with a 10 year prison sentence. I came home in early 2009 with a large list of things I wanted to do with my life. Djing was one of them. I realize I my never play a big club or event. I don't care I look at it as a passion. Things were different when I came home. I went to the clubs I use to go to and they no longer played the music I partied to. It was a different scene bottle service, dress codes and hip hop dj's. I use to be able to go out every night of the week and have a choice of which clubs I wanted to attend that played my music. Now its hard to find a club that plays breaks at least one night a week. So now I don't go out unless its a planned event to see DJs that are in town. I learned a trade on my own while I was inside.
