Dj Goya
Dj Goya

Goya MusicMan, a passionate DJ, started his music journey in 1999 at just 16 years old. What began as a hobby turned into a career spanning over two decades. By 2008, he was already performing as a semi-professional DJ. He built his reputation playing at clubs like Platinum Lounge (2008-2009), Café del Khuze (2010-2012), and Dukes Grill Lounge (2011-2015). From 2016 to 2019, he became a freelancer, touring with King Maestro in various cities across South Africa. Between 2019 and 2021, he took a break from club gigs to study political science but continued making mixtapes for his podcast, The Goya MusicMan Show. In 2022, he helped create music event concepts for The Sauce Lifestyle Café in Polokwane, including the successful PLK Plastic Affair, which ran until 2024 and featured international DJs. In 2022, he was hired by Seventh House Ltd. to produce a jazz mix for Eddie Harris. Today, he runs Goya Music SA, an aspiring record label, and continues to DJ, create mixtapes, and train as a music producer under Victor Duba at Lepatata Records. His journey is all about passion, growth, and pushing boundaries in music.

Zaid-AbdulRahim
Zaid-AbdulRahim

My name is Zaid Abdulrahim from Long Island, NY. I am the DJ/founder of Soulful Horizons Music which started in 2014 throwing its first parties in Harlem USA. My style of music is soulful and Afro House music that touches the spirit. As Louie Vega once told me his first advice to any DJ is to "Play from the heart". From the humble beginnings of throwing my own events in order to get exposure we are excited to establish Soulful Horizons Music. The story starts at about age 5 being blessed with a natural gift of dance. Being able to feel the music unlike others around me and interpret that into a dance motion that was considered very smooth and fluid. I continued to use that feeling to determine what is good music to my soul and what is not but what makes me move. I started off as a rapper at age 12 surrounded by Djs such as Biz Markie, Diamond Jay and Diamond Shell thus the introduction to beat production and studio exposure was given to me at a very impressioonable point in my life and has stuck with me ever since. My family has been in music production for many generations. Starting with Thom Bell who produced for the Stylistics, Delfonics, Elton John, Dionne Warwick and James Ingram to name a few. Followed by Ron Bell who is one of the founding members of Kool and the Gang. Also, Jerry Bell from the Daz Band, Archie Bell of Archie Bell and the Drells and Leroy Burgess the lead singer and producer from the group Black Ivory. As time passed I gravitated more towards the positive energy of House Music and the Love I saw in the culture. I have been blessed to meet many beautiful people. In 2015 I teamed up with the Are You Afro? Movement in the WMC Miami 2015 Conference. This was a major breakthrough for me because I was given an opportunity to open for Anane and Louie Vega at the Nulu Party along with playing three dates with Are you Afro? I am very thankful for those chances to shine and I am using the momentum to take advantage of a bright future. My goal has always been music production and we have finally reached that stage. We currently have dates across the nation coming up. Music releases and collaborations will be distributed world wide with our chain of partners. To keep up with our events please register your email address. By doing so not only will you be kept unto date but also will have access to exclusive mixes and merchandise. Also, access to the guestlist at specified events. Thanks and God Bless!

SALTYKK
SALTYKK

House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Peace Love N Respect Kaleem.

I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... Although not currently active on the DJ’ing circuit, He still keeps his head in the game by producing a mix every month, and posting it on his Soundcloud page. http://soundcloud.com/juneadan Although Phil has a very varied musical background, and can draw on many different styles for inspiration, he tends to go for a nice warm soulful set. I hope you enjoy listening to these mixes as much as he loves putting them together. You can also catch his mixes on http://www.ssradio.com http://www.phillynitesradio.com
