Hi all, I am Diana, how cool you came to read my bio! Now let me tell you about myself. I'm a Dutch DJ based in the Rotterdam aerea. Raised on the first wave of Dutch house and the euphoria of early raves, I try to channel that lived lineage into sets that sweep from deep and dramatic to propulsive and ecstatic. I love to turn those decades of dance-floor history into tightly told rhythmical stories, with tight dirty grooves and those naughty housey, tech and techno vibes. Since 2016 things moved fast: picked up by underground promoters at my first gigs, I became a regular at The Bunker, and co-founded the Ground Zero underground series. On stage it's about about music, connection and dancing which is underscribed by my credo: "Music Connects, Dancing Sets You Free" After playing the 2018 edition of Milkshake Festival Amsterdam together with the Berghain rooted and Parisian based dj collective Less Drama More Techno, I became a resident with them. Playing in Paris was a blast playing at á La Folie and Le Dépot with names like Norman Nodge, Ben Manson, Skippo and Rony Golding. Highlights of that crazy period include Club d’OR (Dordrecht) alongside Analog Kitchen & Lorenzo Foort, Ground Zero at Dolhuis, and multiple Nåchtwacht takeovers at Bibelot/Dordrecht—culminating in live events and extended livestreams that kept a scene moving when clubs were dark due to corona. For fans & bookers: expect precision selection, narrative pacing, and a floor-first mindset built to create peak-energy release without losing musical depth. Contact/Bookings: dianaplayslouder@gmail.com Genre lane: techno / progressive, deep, tech, minimal, oldschool house and groove techno Based in: Rotterdam area, NL

Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

Hello there you my name is Ken Manuel... I'm origanlly from Milwaukee,WI! MIL TOWN YEAYYY! THROW YA SETS UP!!!! ^6^ anyhow I use Virtual DJ,Acid Pro,Ableton, and finally Fl Studio 12... I can't really give all the specs of my laptop but it has windows 10 and and i7 core and so much more... dude spent 7 hundoow on it so i kno its good.... I have plugins such as gross beat,harmor,sylenth1,nexus, and ni massive I use to mix remix and create the instrumentals u here today and the past.... i havent spent a dime on my tools somehow I've been Blessed by something whom I choose to call God with them... anyhow... thats what I use... I know nothing of reading music or writing it... when I make it I generally go by ear and what I feel on the inside... I do what my heart is telling me when I make an instrumental and when I mix if it's a vocal I try to hear the melody and listen to the lyrics as to get a point across or throw some sort of emotion to the listener somehow in anyway shape or form with my Spirit... sometimes it makes sense sometimes it's scattered but given the titles to the mixes or tracks I try to make a point as each thing is put out... due to my inboxes and thank you's from people I guess I'm getting messages across so stay I will... I do what I do and make what I make not only just to spread a message of Hope and Love but to help other's with thier inner struggles as well cuz i know how it feels to be hurt... music is an art... it is an expression of self in no matter what form it is... Electro, Drum and Bass. Garage, Jump up, Jungle, Dubstep Pop ,Rap Country, Rock, Alternative you name it it's an art... I came here to show my art in a way one DJ that used to be on here expressed she thought someone should try... that DJ was Carrie Lopez... she said alot of the mixes that were presented didn't make sense or have any true meaning behind them or were just blindly coming on here... I laughed at her statement behind the scenes cuz my first mix was called "Echoes Of My Dreams"... but I took her advice... and here I am today! But what she failed to realize is like in my previous statement is we are all works of art in all fashions and all have a purpose on this site... but that's a whole nother topic I'm not gonna go off on hah! Anyhow my point is people talked crap about her and she did deathstep and now she's gone... the house needed her too fore she was her own work of art! I think we all need to form unity and embrace each other in my opinion cuz that's what the human race strives for... to LOVE in some sort of fashion wether it be love yourself.... love in intimacy, family, friendship, ect. I've been throgh alot...but I can't post it cuz it's too graphic for this site... inbox me and I'll share but my full on point is what I've been through has given me a pain so deep and a hurt so deep that I've gone through enough to know that what Love is from what Love wasn't if that makes any sense... and since I was a teenager I wanted to share it with the world! because I realized that society as a whole can be very programmed to think a certain way and believe certain things that are un-true from prior experiences... I say this cuz my whole life I believed I was a piece of shit, that I don't belong here, that I am worthless, useless, and good for nothing... in 2009 I was run over by a train,17 cars ran me over in Frame Park in Waukesha,WI and I survived without a scratch on me... WTF? still I carried on believing those things due to what was done to me or at least that's what I think may be causing those thoughts cuz sometimes I still feel that way that's why I disappear out of this site so much just so you all know... I end up hurting myself and go someplace where they try to help me... yea... hopefully I will not be judged for that cuz I'm pouring my heart out here but anyhow due to the fact I get those inboxes from people and their thanks for helping them and touching their hearts... it's shown me I just might have a gift here... and a mission that must keep on going~! I'll stop going on with my story but I will finish with saying "We are all angel's but with one wing, and can only fly embracing each other!" Saw that in a chicken soup for the soul book lol All the DJ's here have touched my heart and like I tell people to pay it forward well that's what I'm here for as well... cuz before I joined I was just a listener in the backround makin crappy loops from scratch under the name DJ Special K on purevolume.com and this site helped me out thru the years while I was just listening... It rubbed off on me,inspired me,released my tears,my angst when i needed to scream... even gave me hope in some mixes... so I am here to Pay It Forward... and give to you what you all give to me... so don't thank me let me Thank You! And whatever your style give it your all and always, ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR HEART and STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF! Take care and I Love Ya All! Cheers!

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)
