Jan McWilliams “DJ Jan The Man” is no stranger to the Jersey Shore, working in the beachside clubs since the early 80’s. Jan has packed the dancefloors of clubs from Long Branch to Seaside Heights. His residency at the Polo Club in the mid-80s to early 90s was unmatched by any other Friday and Saturday nights. With the line wrapped around the building, once inside Jan would create a club experience like no other. Playing everything from classic disco right up to the era’s hottest dance jams. Today you can find Jan The Man on the internet live every Saturday night with DJ Jan The Man’s Classic Dance Party. Its 3 hours DJ Jan at his finest, bringing you back to the times when the weekend in the club is what you waited for all week.

Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

worked as DJ ,in Manchester clubs late 70,s and 80,s ,also worked as backup/ agency DJ at the Warehouse & then best club in the world "The Hacienda" later married , went mobile (earn extra money) ,moved to entertainment agency ,worked most of the hi end hotels around Manchester and surrounding areas, to up head Dj residency at the Willows Salford ,up until it closure ,retired from the DJ scene , when wife was taken ill ,most of my DJ life was in the club scene , but northern soul was my escape, early in life I used to go to the casino , blue room, twisted wheel catacombs' torch ,mecca, plus rake of smaller venues: :Sincere apology's to any that have followed me , have not done much on here or work wise , I retired from the Club & DJ scene , when my wife found out she had cancer ,spent most of my time looking after her ,however since loosing her battle with the big C ,(July 2020)and the fact she told me to throw myself back into music once she had gone ,I am doing just that ,everything I upload from Jan 2021 is dedicated to her memory ,Thank you for the time we had together my love, gone but not forgotten. R.I.P Elsa my one and only Love, . . . And as always NO stupid intros ,talk overs, clip like :your listening to ??, a mix by DJ (Whatever the Name)or anything else all you hear on my mixes , is the music from start to finish Please note i don't push my mixes on here , its all done by ear if you like the mix tell your mates to listen or d/load thanks any northern soul fans drop me a message let me know where you are I'm based in Stockport, ps if your wondering why no track lists , well because some djs on here took my mixes as there own , naughty naughty , so if the few are going to do that the few are going to have to do some work sorting out what the tracks are ,no doubt other have had the same problem ,and as a result fill there mixes with intros etc , not me ,you get wall to wall music

Passionate about electronic music since I was 11, I started listening to old school house, dance, eurobeat, techno, the beginnings of trance. When I went to my first rave at age 18, I decided that I should learn to do what those dj's do. So I studied a diploma as a professional DJ. After I had the fortune to meet festivals like the Love Parade in Mexico, I fell in love even more than music could do for us. But, on the road of life (and poverty Ha! Ha!) I discovered that it was more a hobby than a desire to make a career. So, until several years ago I found this magnificent page where I can share my creations to the world with the sole purpose of transmitting an atmosphere, a story, that makes you dance or just enjoy wherever you are. British Dj/ Producer playing the latest/ best of Uplifting/NRG Trance. Anthony Turner (Born 1977 Bury, Greater Manchester, England) is an up and coming new Trance Producer and Dj. My passion for Trance music Started in the early 90's as Trance music was being born, listening to tracks from such artists like Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Van Dyke, Gary D. (the list can go on), following at venues such as Fantazia, Helterskelter, Dreamscape (many rave type venues) through to Goodgreef and Godskitchen, up to 2003 where i started to DJ Trance music. The passion didn't stop there, i wanted more from DJing, i wanted to Dj my own material, this led me to Education. September 2004 was the start of Music Education, starting at Oldham College studying Music Technology to move me on to higher Education. September 2006 was the time to carry on developing my skills in Music Technology. Leeds Metropolitan University was the new place of study, studying Creative Music and Sound Technology for Bachelor Honours Degree in Science. And today!

Mikey-J here now as a lot of folk mixin its all digital ,,i use vinyl decks sometimes to get samples from old tunz then use traktor pro along with vdj pro ,as you can see i will have a go at mixing anything i just love music ,i not gonna say iam great at mixing , so any feedback about what iam mixing or how my mix sounds is allways welcome, thanks to all who listen or download any of my mixes,
