DJDeMarco, being 30 years in DJ-business, influenced by Front242, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk & ACID House Music in the 80ies - DJDeMarco discovered his love to electronic dance music in the early 90ies (Space Club, Warehouse Club Cologne & MAYDAY, Love Parade Berlin). On purpose to share this love with others, he started spinning the decks in 1992, what stayed body & soul for him up today. His sets have as much different faces as the audience itself, focusing on becoming one with the crowd by reaching peoples emotions a groovy driven style. Countless gigs in many different German clubs had always one fact in common: long lasting & formatting sets developing magic needs time. House, Tech-House, Progressive, Minimal-Tech or Techno, it doesn´t matter, as long as it touches the Soul & makes the audience on the dancefloor goes MAD. Resident DJ at Club AMNESIA, RockBabylon, BarFly/NuEra, X-Club (Moenchengladbach), Tor 3, Stahlwerk, Ratinger Hof, MK-2 (Duesseldorf) & Warehouse Club, Bogen2 and Bootshaus (Cologne). DSM got his start behind the decks, being self-taught on SL-1200s back in 2001. After working his way up through the scene, he became a mainstay in the Colorado scene - from small, underground warehouse parties to larger festivals, his name became synonymous with being the master of a variety of genres. Eventually also working his way into clubs like The Church, Beta, Vinyl and what is now known as Bar Standard, his diversity in track selection moved crowds of all types. Having semi-retired from 2015-2020 due to some personal tragedy and changed life goals, DSM re-emerged in 2020, getting back onto the decks - creating new, masterful mixes to deliver music he loves back to the scene he loves. From the main stage to the underground and back in the days. Captivated by the invisible force of music and the magnificent thought that the right track dropped at the right time can change it all I started to compile my own music discs for smaller events and family gatherings. And because this soon was not enough I started virtual djing back in 2009 on my home computer... Well yes I've come a long way until today and before Covid 19 dropped I have had the chance to play many events such as wedding celebrations, birthday parties or company anniversaries as a hit deejay...and also entering the clubs and small festivals stages playing house, commercial, techno and progressive live sets mainly back to back with my beast buddy DJ Altavozzz. So now even when Corona lay us down I am still searching 24/7 – true to the motto music is essential like the air to breathe – for the highlights in electronic music regardless of genre, artist and age. Like an acoustic journey, from the main stage to the underground and back in the days. Music has no boundaries. Music is able to express things we can not put into words. It helps us to celebrate life and let all those special moments never slip out of our memory. It helps us to mourn and fade out all the sorrow in a melancholic world which let us never lose our faith for tomorrow. Closing our eyes we can feel how influenced our heart is by the BPM we hear and in what special way it controls our mood leaving us smiling or crying. The invisible force of music.
