House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Well it's been a while since I was last on hear but i'm back. My name is Mark, (Marky D) and I am a DJ from Glasgow (Scotland). I have been spinning for the last 17 years and my love for House music began over 20 years ago. Over the years I have been inspired by a number of DJ'S and producers. I have played in various venues on the Scottish scene over the years and I play a weekly show on Housefreaks Radio every Saturday from 9-11pm. I mainly play Deep, Soulful, Afro and Jackin House music. This page will showcase my latest mixes and I will be adding at least one or two a month from my "Soul Dependancy" and "Deep Dependancy" series.
