I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, amateur pianist, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. Addicted to music since the age of 15, listening to it, playing it, and enjoying it to the fullest! I took my first steps in the world of local radio stations with music styles such as New Wave, New Beat, and later more danceable styles such as Garage, Disco, Soul, Funk, House and more... My music style produced the necessary decibels through many speakers in living rooms, organized parties, and discotheques/clubs. Music is enjoyment, freedom, and carefreeness that I want to share with many listeners as fellow DJs.

I'm an amateur at-home DJ still learning the ropes. I'm 68 years old and love listening to a wide range of music, mostly House, Dance, Disco, and Reggae, as well as some country. Hello everyone. I come from Poland where I live. I have been creating music since I was 14. Today I am 40 years old. My favorite genre of music is TRANCE.
