Né en 1985 dans les Yvelines, Julien Salès cultive depuis son enfance une attirance pour la musique. Il a su de part son oreille attentive se nourrir de différents style musicaux. A force d'aller de festival en festival, il ne se lance en 2009 dans la création et le remix Il fait parti de ces autodidactes qui prennent plaisir à se former tout seul.
