I started listening to music since he was 8 years old, my first console I got it at 17 I was delighted with the years 80s, then I am passed to the techno-acid. They were good times and all vinyl. In 1994 I started to appreciate techno -hardcore, after which they are passed to the hardcore and still are today. I'm not a professional DJ. I also began to appreciate the genre hardstyle and rawstyle. However I like all kinds. For the last couple of years I've been fortunate enough to have DJ'ing as my full time job, doing +200 gigs a year. I adapt my mixing according to the genres and expectations from the crowd, but I always try to build an atmosphere that take my audience to some kind of euphoric happiness. Straight forward mixing doesn't leave much room for errors but when it's tight. it's beautiful. I like progress and I embrace new technology as long as knowledge and skill is what's behind the use of it. Here, I can listen to all your nice uploads and get inspired to learn new stuff. I play a lot of funk/soul/disco originals and only manual mixing does it as you have to ''feel'' the mixes to get 'em right. That's why I never use sync 'n' rarely the quantize function. All my mixes are made in one take. No editing. I prepare my music, not my mixes. What you hear, is what you can expect to hear when I play live. Unless something critical happens, I don't restart the recording. Some people don't agree with me in this, but for me to do it in another way, would be like cheating to my customers. So yes, there will be errors once in a while and that's how it is. There's no start overs in real live gigs, and that's what I practice for. You who take your time to listen to my mixes here, are just as important to me as the crowd in a venue, so I put the same focus in my mixes as I do on live gigs. The influences would come from Portuguese DJ's like Paulo Leite, Luis Leite, Mário Roque, Miguel Simoes, Rui Remix, in houses like Silver Gold, Palm Beach, Coconuts, Vaticano, News, 2001, Alcântara Mar and Benzina or even Kremlin. And from International djs like Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and Frankie Knuckles. The drug for the great masses of music is MUSIC. And if so... Then I'm a drug dealer.
