Tony Stewart started playing records in the summer of 85 with a good friend for fun little did he know that it would turn into a life long passion by The late 80's Tony had quickly began to make a name for himself around Orange County,California being the resident dj at most of the teen clubs in the area. In 1988 He had his own nightclub called Zzapp which he played at and ran promotions with a childhood friend ,next on the plate was moving to LA to take on Hollywood.There he played at numerous nightclubs including The Roxbury, Bar One,Sunset room just to name few, as well as being a buyer at Beat Non Stop. Beat Non Stop was one of the most influential music stores Hollywood. Tony also played for numerous celebrity parties including Rolling Stone,The Chemical Bro,Lenny Kravitz and Director Stephen Hopkins. In 2000 Tony was asked by his friend BT to headline is North American tour with Hooverphonic as the headlining dj.Tonyis currently part of the Rose City Undergound in Portland.

Peace. The name is LaMart Young. I originally started DJing in the early 80's. Stopped mixing for about 20 years. Couldn't stay away, so I'm back at it again. I love mixing Disco, Deep, and Soul House. Also Neo Soul and Old School!! I also mix Hip Hop (not rap), 80's Rock and Ol Skool Freestyle. Hi allI'm an Ol' school DJ and producer from the nineties when i made six house tracks and Dj'd in many well known clubs in London.My musical Influence comes from playing soul and rare groove tunes when i was a teenager then the Acid House scene took the UK by storm in the late eighties and top producers such as Joey Negro,Dave Morales and Frankie Knuckles etc started producing house music with a soulful feel to it and Soulful house music was born but didn't really take off in the mainstream house scene.I wrote and produced 5 records in the late nineties under the name of West 1 and a sixth,a speedgarage track under the name of BMW with two other colleagues(Butts,Menzie,West,hence the BMW).I also Dj'd at a variety of London clubs including Pacha,Legends,Ministry of Sound VIP room,Venom(as it was called then)and many others.Around 2006/2007 I dj'd on pirate radio stations including SelectUK,993.com and still do guest appearances on www.urbankronix.co.ukAn old friend of mine started nagging me a couple of years ago to blow the dust off of my Technics 1200's and get back into djing and producing.I'm pretty new to House-Mixes.com although I joined just over a year ago so most of my mixes are on www.soundcloud.com/the-dj-westy.I've got around 15 mixes to upload here as well as some new mixes coming up.I've also started producing Soulful House tracks with Reason 7 so watch this space!!!!!.As well as the obvious 2 decks and a mixer,I use Serrato SL4 with digital vinyl so i can play my digital downloads straight through the Technics.Amazing technology,beats carry a box full of vinyl everywhere you go!Ok,that's a little insight about me,just turn up the volume and I hope you enjoy my mixes:-)Yours TrulyDJ Westy(Chris) www.soundcloud.com/the-dj-westy

I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... He is known for his unique style and talent for creating that memorable set. He likes to spice up his Soulful mixes by playing a selection of Funky, Deep, Disco, Jackin, Tribal, Latin and Tech House grooves. He had his first taste of mixing back in 1992 whilst spinning some tunes on a friends decks, after just a few attempts he was hooked and soon enough bought his first set of decks. From then on he experimented with various styles of dance music, predominately hardcore which was dominating the scene at the time. Drum and Bass, House and UK Garage were to follow, along with a brand new set of Technic SL1210s. In 1997 he had his first big break on landing a fortnightly Friday night resident slot at the Mirage Club, aka The House of Windsor, where he played alongside fellow DJ and friend Ryan Giorgiano at the widely established Garage UK event. In 1998 he landed a slot alongside the mighty Heartless Crew @ underground Flavours, a NYE event held @ Pyramid Studios in London. In 1999 he changed his style of music and moved on from Mirage to the legendary Manor where he played a monthly slot of Soulful House and US Garage alongside resident DJs Si Gracia and Seth Sanchez and doing warm up sets for the likes of CJ Mackintosh, Dj Disciple, Danny Rampling and Joey Negro. Sadly after just a year, in 2000 this spot ended as the Manor closed its doors for the last time. At this point he decided to take a break from professional djing, although his love of the music and desire to perform soon led him back to what he does best. In 2004 he re-established himself with his own event @ OCs nightclub in Birmingham, namely Surpassion and a residency @ Sunday Function, an after party event held @ G2 also in Brum, where he produced various live mix cds. His return to the scene also led him to encounter Mr H and The Smooth Team who were based in Reading and soon hooked him up with a regular slot @ Mangos throughout the summer of 2006 where he played a smooth blend of Soulful House in their contemporary garden area. In 2007 he teamed up with his good friend Simon B and together they became Soul Clerics. Since becoming Soul Clerics they had quite a busy schedule playing weekly on their own radio show (Soul Clerics Recovery Sessions-Logik FM) and at various different venues such as Klute, K1, Supastar Boudoir and Bar So (Bournemouth) Tonic, Sleepers and Bar Rock (Basingstoke) Mango, Fez and Face Bar (Reading) Apartment (Swindon) Square (Camberley) Niche (London) the list goes on, and also playing their two monthly resident slots at Junkclub (Southampton) and Origins-Twenty (Bournemouth). After a busy and exciting period as the Soul Clerics they both decided that they would like to go their own way and continue their djing careers as solo artists. Darren is still in popular demand and can still be found playing at venues all over the southcoast, he is now also concentrating fully on the production and releasing of his own material and with continuous djing opportunities and production shaw to follow, the future's looking good for Dj Darren Hardy.

Craig AKA Wilson Frisk hails from Bradford, Yorkshire in the north of England. Like many other Dj's Wilson started his musical journey collecting music as a young teenager doing compilations for his friends. In 1994 Wilson started a music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend Chris Stephenson which covered the music scene in the north of England. Around 1995 Wilson became involved with a very successful club night called 'Spice' which was his first stint at Dj'ing playing Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and jazz. Although Wilson had listened and collected plenty of House music, he didnt become a full on House Dj til around 1998. Since then Wilson has firmly established himself in the House music scene holding down residencies in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield and been involved with infamous club nights such as Back2Funky, Uno House, Our House, Afro Coalition, Way2Funky, Wallop, GYGO and The House Of Phunk. Currently Wilson is one of the Boombox Stereo residents who play at the mighty BeatHearder Festival and part of the 4Playdjs Collective who play at the Solfest Festival in Cumbria. Recently Wilson has also turned his hand to production and is one half Of The Krate Diggaz along with Rich T who are signed to Disco Filter Records and Black Rain Records, with current releases on Traxsource.com .. Wilson is known for his smooth mixing style, taking you on a musical journey dipping in and out of all genres of House music but keeping it in his Soulful, Funky style that he renowned for! You can now catch Wilson on PCR (Peoples city radio) peoplescityradio.co.uk/ every other Wednsday night 6 til 8pm UK with his show 'HouseBound' which has been firmly running for 4 years now, playing all things House, with regular guests.....Keep The Faith!
