I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture. The below write up pretty much sums up how deeply I love music......and how I always have for as far back as I can remember. This part of me will never change.....not ever. ~ You don’t have to be a musician to be in love with music. It plays a significant part in shaping all of our personalities and identities, even toddlers react to music first before anything else. A life without music would be terribly boring and quite hard to fathom. Below is a list of reasons why music is indispensable and probably just as important as breathing. ~ 1. Music kicks in every time words fail. Haven’t we all told our special someone how we feel through a song 2. It’s your only constant companion while traveling. Plug in your ear phones and disconnect with the commotion around 3. Music binds us even in diversity. You may not understand a language and yet the song moves you deeply 4. On several occasions a song becomes synonymous to a loved one. It often defines all the emotions you’ve ever shared. 5. Music is also an instant mood lifter. You have a happy list, a sad list, a drinking list. 6. It’s in fact hard to fathom any celebration now days without factoring in the music for it. Birthdays, Christmas, Weddings, etc.... 7. It doesn’t matter if you can sing or not, but no one can stop you from singing when you want to 8. Music is the key to creativity. Most people working in a creative environment believe good music is crucial. It’s both evocative and a great stimulant says science. 9. Studies also suggest that music in the near future will have the ability to heal Parkinson’s and speech disorders. 10. Science says that music has the power to affect your brain and even change the way it works! 11. Most importantly music is very spiritual. It taps into that certain part of people that sometimes really need to be awakened. ~ Music can change the world because it can change people.

Hey I'm André! Equipment:2 Technics 1200mk5s, 2 Pioneer CDJ 900s, Pioneer DJM 700 4 channel mixer, Vinyl :), 2 JBL 15” monitors, Klipsch 12” subwoofer. How I started spinning: When I was 15 I stumbled upon a radio station here in L.A. (103.1 KDL) that used toplayall of the club hits at that time such as: Diving - 4 strings, Something – Lasgo etc. I didn’t even know what this type of music was called, but the melodies and energy captivated me so I looked into how one “plays” it which is how I got into djing. As far as my reasons for spinning aside from loving the music, I feel a calling for me to unite people through music, so getting an uplifting emotional message across to the crowd through tunes that I love playing is very fulfilling as well as uplifting for me. If I can make peoples’ or even just one person’s night at a party through good vibes, then that’s all I want :).Reason for mixing so many styles:Well I feel that not just one genre explains or “understands” how I feel and given that there are so many aspects that make up my personality and sentiments that are ever changing, for me spinning just one isn’t as fulfilling as playing multiple. From the heavy sides of hardstyle, morbidity and rolling basslines of dark psy, to the dreamy uplifting aspects of trance, it’s impossible for me to appreciate just one style.

26,000 years ago, the earths internal kundalini energy changed. The time where organized thought rules inner knowing, is coming to an end. The days where music written with a vision of wealth in the mind succeeds, are numbered. The time is upon us where intuitive creativity will be at the forefront of progress. Fifth Dimension will harness these high energies, and let the music write itself. They are not producers, They are messengers. Not bound by the restrictive rules of genre, Not bound by the feeling of judgement created by the ego. Bound only by the need to bring others together. Your inner self has a message for you, and Fifth Dimension will appear to provide it.
