2 Pioneer CDJ-100 and Reloop 40 DSP Mixer Chris Drifter - Blue Room;) Krisztian Gabor aka Chris Drifter from Budapest, Hungary was always interested in electronic dance music. As a Child his love for music grew out of listening to his fathers vinyl collection & collecting all sorts of music throughout the years. In 1996, taken to a house party by a friend, Chris took a major interest in electronic music. By 1999 he solidifies his skills as a Progressive and Electro house DJ. Also venturing into Tech-house and minimal, Chris played in small parties or event that he himself organized. In April 2005 invited to in an Alfa Romeo-Honda car summit, he spun his music throughout the duration of the in event in front of 1,000 people, being one of his major experiences in his career after which earned him a residency on Pressure Radio every Friday night. In 2008 he was invited to spin in Russia, which earned him another invitation yet to be confirmed for late in 2008. Throughout the years Chris has learned to work the crowds allowing them to experience his passions and emotions, connecting their senses and evolving the party to a level of blissful experience for one and all in attendance. Featured in several net Radio Shows such as: JustMusic.fm, Galaxie.fm, Inside.fm, rautemuzik.fm, radiodeepsounds.com, friskyRadio, just to name a few has allowed him to create enough credibility to start his own show on Pure.fm called SoundTribe Sessions, which is broadcasted twice a month and features guest appearances by the worlds greatest talents. Furthermore, for Chris the production aspect of the industry is as important as working the crowd in a party or event. He has several Productions under several prestigious labels such as SoundTribe Rekords, Existence Records, and most recently his 2008 Blue Room EP under Plastic Fantastic, expected to do well in the house charts as the previous tracks Panned Emotions & Diego Mongelos’ Ghost in the Sea (Chris Drifter Remix) In the beginning of 2007 Chris began working for SoundTribe Rekords as the A&R Manager, putting him in charge of managing the whole music side of the label, controlling promotions and releases. In 2008 Christ Drifter Joined forces with several other Hungarian DJ’s and Producers to form Bitseque. This group is formed by the talented Hungarian Duo’s Faces & Moti Brothers, along with DJ/Producer DownKill. For the near future Chris plans finish his pending productions and remixes, which will be released under several prominent labels, keep managing all aspects of SoundTribe Rekords, further develop Bitseque as a power house for the progressive scene, and last but not least travel all over the world and spreading & exposing his sounds to all the masses. I started Djing in1985. The biggest influence on the music I play came from the "Hot Mix 5". Later influences came from Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Lil Louis, Fast Eddie, Bad Boy Bill, Farris Thomas, DJ Rush, Boo Williams, Glenn Underground, Steve Hurley, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, and Russell Miller a.k.a. DJ 78. I LOVE MY DISCO !!! Growing up in the "Windy City" HOUSE was KING!!! It was the heart beat of the city in my teen years. Hopefully I will be able to bring back some of those memories in the mix! I'm a "House Head" forever and hopefully you will enjoy the energy I bring to House Mixes.com.
