Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! Jordan Fitzsimmons is a young DJ with a fanatical passion for deep, soulful, jackin’ House music and it’s a sound that he plays all over the North East where he lives. Jordan’s past gigs include ‘Souldeep’, ‘Strictly Headshots’, ‘Haze’ and ‘Modify’. After appearing in SSW’s Goldmine Room on numerous occassions, we thought it was about time Jordan got a chance to spin in the Pressure Point, after all he has been one of the most travelled Goldmine guys to share the decks with fellow Goldmine DJs as a guest at their events. He has travelled to Edinburgh and Glasgow to guest for both ‘Souljack’ and ‘Mondo Loco’ where his M.A.W., Chandler, Phil Asher, Migs And ‘Trouble’ Anderson influenced sets went down a storm. He currently promotes ‘Funk Essential’, which is proving to be yet another big night for him in the North East. If you are into the mo’ soulful side of House, Jordan Fitzsimmons is a purist and master of this genre and it’s a set not to be missed at any cost.

Been into the music scene and Dj'ing for almost 20 years now and have a great love for House Music ranging from Classic US House, Deep, Vocal, Funky & Underground; also appreciating Soul, Disco and Funk. Collecting vinyl started as a hobby when I was very young and this developed into a real passion. Experienced many events around the country such as Soul Heaven, Hard Times, Southport Weekender, The Manor Born and early Shindig events amongst other local gigs. Inspired by some of the best DJ's in the scene that I have had the privilege to see perform such as Masters At Work, Kerri Chandler, Spen & Karizma, Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles and Joey Negro to name a few; this built a solid foundation of knowledge on house music and its roots. Sharing my passion for the first time I had to opportunity to play regularly in the early 2000's at Jaks Bar a local club which was a real eye opener to see the way I could make people feel just by playing the music I love. Recently over the last few years my desire to play at gigs had increased and has since seen me spin some beats at various events. Hello Party People! I am DJ SoulSh@ker, DJ Emi@L older name (Emile Banen). From the 80's i was fascinated to listen mixes on radio 3 The BVD (Bond van Doorstarters) So i thought i can do this too. Make cut and past mixes on The Akai GX-635D reel to reel tapedeck with 10" Maxell alluminium reels. After that i was fascinated to mix music on old audio and vintage DJ Gear. Repair them if it doesn't work. And sell them if i had enough of it. First mixes what i made where broadcasted on radio 538 "The Dance Top 40" in 1997. I recorded the mixes and jingles (With my own voice) on tape (Tape decks) and later on 386 computers. And after that on MD'.s (Minidiscs). Also i have make enough homemade projects like amplifiers, speakers and 3mtr transmitters. (Yes i was a pirate on the radio in the 90's) with many school and outside friends. I started DJing at the age of 18, when my mother asked me if I want a driving licence for my birthday or a record player - I decided for the record player ☺ My idols were and are Todd Terry, Westbam, Gary D., Paul Oakenfold, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Matthias Heilbronn and many others. I spinned "live" at a few parties and at some clubs. I love all types of music, so I spinned "Salsa and Merengue" for a few years too - love the Latin vibe. My style depends on my daily mood ;)) House-Mixes is a great site to share our passion for music...keep the vibe alive ☺
