My Name is Wayne brooks aka djbrooksie I have been mixing since 1992 when i got my first ever beat match using two copies of a slammin vinyl track called ROUGHER-Ever since then i have been into my music and the rave scene - my first love was mid 90,s Happy Hardcore aka 4 Beat as well as what is known as Oldskool Hardcore 89-90-91-92-93 , My main influences in music are Pianos and vocal which has led me into the paths of Happy Hardcore- Oldskool Hardcore-Happy n Funky house -oldskool House -Scouse House -and UK garage . Roy started listening to electronic music in the late 90s. At that time he was mainly into trance and brakes. Then one night he went to a show the State Palace Theater where he watched DJ John Kelly perform, thats when Roy found his passion for house music. In 1998 Roy landed his first residence at a club called The Balcony. Roy was known for hyping up the crowd all night long while improving his technical skills. After playing at The Balcony for about a year, he started looking for a bigger crowd. At that point Roy went to Florida and played with the production company Stimulas. After playing along side some of the most respected DJs in the world, Roy decided to bring his style of tribal music to his hometown of Slidell. Once he was back home, Roy helped start a production company named Statik. Thats where all the fun began. Throwing two to three shows a week, Roy was being heard of and respected through the entire south. You can catch him performing at many hot spots throughout Louisiana.

BEEN INTO PROG HOUSE,ELECTRO,BREAKBEAT SINCE 1991 WHEN I FIRST STARTED CLUBBIN.I WAS PART OF THE WHISTLE POSSE IN 1990 LISTNIN TO HARDCORE..1991 STARTED GOING TO THE PALAIS(JAM FACTORY)SHEFFIELD AS WELL AS JIVE TURKEY AND OCCASSIONS.STARTED DJING ROUND THEN WITH A MATE..PLAYED HYPNOSIS CENTRE,SPITAL HILL(VERY RUFF).ALSO DID A STINT ON FANTASY FM AND PITCH FM KNOWN AS HARMONY.PLAYED A FAIR WHILE AFTER THAT BUT GOING OUT GOT THE BETTER OF ME..WAS WORKIN 12 HOURS,6 DAYS A WEEK SO I HAD TO NJOY MYSELF AND DECIDED I WANTED TO PARTY..SO THE DJIN TOOK A BACK SEAT AND JUST MESSED ROUND IN BEDROOM ON EM..ALWAYS LOVED MY MUSIC AND MY DANCIN(THATS WHY I DID IBIZA 9 YEARS IN A ROW 91-2000)..HAVENT BEEN ON THE DECKS FOR A WHILE AND I KNOW THINGS HAVE PROGRESSED TECHNOLOGY WIZE SO I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL ON ANY HINTS TIPS AND KNOWLEDGE ON IT ALL.I WILL SUBMIT A MIX THATS A PROMISE BUT NEED A BIT OF KNOWLEDGE FROM YOUR GOOD SELVES FIRST..CHEEAZ ...PS.AM PART OF THE ORIGINAL 'E' GENERATION!!! It all started back in 1990 with The Happy Mondays & Stone Roses. Rave was still underground & Illegal The sound was fresh. It all started when I listened to a mixtape a mate was listenin to he said have a listen to this. I soon started to search for pirate stations around my local area, MIX FM, FRESH FM (Leicester) & KOOL FM (Birmingham). Has I got more into the music I thought I would have a go at DJin so brought myself a pair of soundlab belt drives & a numark mixer & buy my vinyl from 5HQ. In 2009 I thought I would have a go at producin my own tracks. UNDER CONTRUCTION

Hi all DJ FUNK ere Don,t dj out at clubs now after 35 years of clubbing & djing happy memories (old age catching up,,lol, and now i,ve started djing back up again at home looking for a new chapter, just to let the crowd no i,am still around and now i dj as a hobbie and i do a weekly show on GLOBALDNB.COM every saturday!!....my passion is the music and vibe that you get from the listeners,, ,,and now i still feel the same passion for music now as i did way bk then,,music is the1 thing that's help me through good and bad times...so may the ride continue...long live the vibe... :-) all my mixes are done liveon cdj decksstraight to sound forgeand thats it no fancy programs just straight free style mixing oldskool.. . not that ive got anthing against gadgets.. only just started useing cdj decks last 2 years.. hope you all enjoy my sets.. feel free to leave comments all feedback welcome good or bad..take care all .. big shout out goes out to all djs on HM and paul for his hard work on HM..And not forgeting 4 long time friends [dj Darkrider],[dj morpheus], [dj charks,],[dj supremacy] and [patrick.].thanks for your surpport over the last 30 years or so we are all getting older but still going strong all for the love and passion for music...may the ride continue!! peace n lv Like to say a big thank you to all who check out my sets and listen to them or download and save them.
