Born and raised on the mean streets of Alkmaar, EKSi, AKA Maikel van den Brink For EKSi it all started with Pro/Fast Tracker on His Amiga 500 and since that time he has been making his own music. EKSi took a break for quite a few years and in 2010 Picked up his hobby again and started as a Deejay. Soon after that started creating his music again in his home Studio, located in the Netherlands/Alkmaar. I got introduced to trance and progressive in 2006 and loved it ever since. My influences are Armin Van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, PVD, Ferry Corsten, Super8 and Tab, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Gabriel and Dresden...and many more. I currently love the direction of trance with such artist like Mat Zo and Arty and hope to one day rock the massess at a club or festival. Carl started off as a glass collector in a local nightclub, he always had a feel and a love for music and when the resident dj never turned up the manager asked him to go and play a few tunes, he did although he had never mixed on 2 record decks he was mixing his first tracks within thirty minutes. He says ' I couldn't believe how easy I picked it up, I used to watch the resident dj and had an idea of what to do and when asked to cover for him I put it to practice and found it really easy, I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones'. Carl has never stopped perfecting his mixes the 10 years he has been playing and continues to strive in his performances, now using his laptop and Traktor he plays some very creative sets, although he does make sure he takes some records with him for good measure. 'I will never leave records it's how I started and learned and there is nothing like taking a vinyl out and hearing it been played sounds so much warmer than a cd, but I had to join the digital era and it is a lot easier on my back'. He then went on to run his own night BACK2HOUSE which was very successful, after this he was offered to do guest sets in local bars and clubs and gaining a loyal following of members he then progressed to run DELICIOUS another night with a soundtrack consisting of retro and funky vocal house tracks. After a few years of running his nights he received a phone call to become the resident dj at the nightclub he first started out, he gladly accepted and was rocking the dance floor week in week out for 3 years. He then took a break in which he started to have a go at producing.....

He started spinning in 1989 on a set of belt drive turntables. Learning how to mix from scratch and playing in gyms and auditoriums for school dances and community events. His first real gig was in Windsor playing on the same bill as Richie Hawtin and John Aquaviva at the Building. Working his way opening on the Toronto rave circuit for DJs like Dr Trance, Chris Sheppard, Dekoze, Jelo & Capital J. In 1995 moving on to Alberta to work radio he had his own show on MY96FM in Medicine Hat for 4 years and was a co-founder of Phreaky Phellows Productions (along with Ryan Organ & Jessie Swain) which combined threw over 60 major raves/events which saw 5 Alive, DJ Double D, DJ Anthem, DJ Grubb, Lori the HiFi Princess come to town. In 2000 under the sponsorship of Needle Clothing Co he then left for Vancouver and played the club circuit with such notables as Marco Carola, Mauro Picotto, Kaskade, Plump DJs, Benny Benassi, RC Lair, Czech, K OS, Marlon J English, Scott Audio, Jeff Galaxy, Mirka L Cerny, DJ XL & Jesse James. In 2003 he left to DJ on Princess Cruise Lines and would play on lay overs in places like Greece, England, Russia, Barbados and; Holland. At present he lives on Vancouver Island working on his production and planning his next destination. Hello to all you music LOVERS. My name is ATTITUDE. I started out as a Hip-Hop, R&B Scratch DJ (inspired by Mister Magic, Red Alert, Funk Masterflex & Kid Capri). Then one day I started to listening to some HOUSE Music and have been hook ever since. I listen to some of the legends that start it all. Like Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Shep Pettibone, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Louie Vega, David Morales, Tony Moran, and one of course one of my favorites is TONY HUMPHRIES.
