DJ "Like" Page: DJKURTA DJ KURTA also known as Kurt Arries, frequently appears on The Teen Show with Carl Wastie on GoodHope FM , Weekend Funk on Valley FM and has a strong passion for music. He is inspired by artist, listeners, fans and hopes to inspire them as well. He shares his passion for music through his mixes and when he plays at events/parties/clubs/gigs. DJ KURTA hope’s to inspire and be inspired by artists, fans and listeners. He believes people should unite and enjoy music as it should be. “I started getting heavily involved in music in 2009 where I started doing parties and MC'ing school dances and started mixing. It's then that I realised that DJ'ing is my passion, making the crowd dance is my mission and mixing music is what I love doing. I'm still new at this but music has been in my blood since the day I was born. Sometimes music speaks for you, makes your body dance and expresses your words, thoughts and feelings without the need for words - another reason why I love music so much! “– DJ KuRtA Initially Kurta’s music started in Grade 2 when he started taking piano lessons which he now has a few piano grade’s under his belt after studying at The Royal School’s of Music (England) which he did the courses in P.E. Now Kurt continues his passion by DJ’ing, mixing, playing piano and entertaining the crowds. Apart from his musical ability, he also plays club soccer at one of the leading clubs in the Western Cape – View Of Hope F.C. Kurta also plays cricket, tennis and performs well at school level. DJ KURTA plays at birthday parties (16th, 18th, 21st etc), large events, radio (GoodHope FM and Valley FM).
