Born with a passion for music in the vibrant city of Sāo Paulo, Julio Marks has Grown into a saxophone, composer and Dj. player. With a thriving academic education in saxophone he took his talents to the street of Barcelona, where he delved even deeper into his baritone sax abilities and specialised in traditional Jazz and popular Brazilian music. Julio graces the stages of private events, clubs, and festivals with various Brazilian music collectives. As composer he is the mastermind behind the avant-garde electronic music protect know as NUBN Collective, which infuses Brazilian classics with electronic and experimental sounds. Julio also lends his talent to the sound design of theatrical performances and movies.

Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, amateur pianist, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
