No matter what I do, life just always pushes me back to music. It is difficult to put into words just how much music means to me. I am thankful to love something this much. Music for me is as precious as the air I breathe. Music is a universal language. A gift from heaven most certainly. I believe the same as Bob Marley did. One love absolutely. The world needs good music and good artists to unify people given how the world has been going. I am most certainly not the best and also not the worst. I can hold my own extremely firmly at huge performances and I spin proudly and happily. Yet I spin just as fine next to the poolside on a weekend. The fact is I enjoy music immensely. I always have a song playing in my head. My heart is in the right place. My sincere wish for you to also enjoy this wonderful gift we have been given. I do music in my way. But if a person's day is made due to a song I played or composed, Happiness. I have been so blessed in my life to see people enjoy beautiful moments that changed their lives forever for the better. So I absolutely love music and I respect it's power to change lives. I am however just a flesh and blood person. I grow everyday to be better than yesterday. Doesn't always go that way. I tip my hat to the magic of other peeple's skill with music as well. I still learn every day. I am just grateful to be able to make my own. I am Jay D. No more, no less. Things you don't find on the net :D I have been playing music for a long time. I can do some magic. So magic I will do for you to the best of my skill. That IS my guarantee to you. I became a mobile dj a few years ago and am building. I specialize in House and Baltimore Club Music, Hip Hop and R&B. I LuvLuvLuv TRIBAL! I grew up in a music loving family so I also enjoy the classics; from the Motown Movement to The British Invasion! I learn something new each time I hear another DJ's mixing style and have learned so so so much since joining this site so thank you to all of the artists out there! Of all the music that I hear and play; I like many of you I'm sure, am hypnotized by house music. I will always choose a track with a hard pounding but melodic bassline for my mixes. I only funk with VINYL but hope to invest in cd players as I gig more. ; CD players are far less stressful than vinyl but I do enjoy calling myself a TURNTABLIST (even though I'm a timecoded turntablist). I always welcome feedback so please let me know what you think of my mixes.
