I love to collect various types of music and do mix sets. I got started in 2004 and never looked back. From the age of 3 or so, I could remember making detailed observations about music. I was kind of counting music at a very young age. I would associate the notes with the colors I saw. Even though my vocabulary was non existent at the time, I would use what I could to reference it in my head. It was never the words, but the sounds that would hit my mind first. I really wanted to create my own vibes just as others before me. I do this for my health and sanity! Breaks / Electro / Soul / Tech / House

Retro Gear: Technic 1200 MKIII Roland DJ 2000 Mixer Crown Amp Cerwin Vega Monitors 2009 Gear: Pioneer CDJ 1000 MKIII Pioneer DJM 800 Mixer Serato Sony Vaio old records circa 1993 to 2002 In 1993 Frank Nitty emerged in the San Francisco dance scene spinning a Ragga Techno Breakbeat style that eventually lead to him being known as one of the first SF DJs to be classified as a Breakbeat DJ. After rocking countless parties throughout the 90s at infamous locations such as Oakland's Home Base, 2nd & Jackson Warehouse as well as San Francisco's 16th & Harrison, Maritime Hall and the Bill Graham Civic Center, Frank Nitty began to expand his musical genres. Throughout the 90s Frank Nitty performed with world class DJs such as DJ Dan, Christopher Lawrence, The Crystal Method and DJ Icey. In 1999 Frank Nitty continued his Breakbeat onslaught and also began recording and performing Drum & Bass. In 2000 Frank Nitty became apart of the dance mix show House Nation. The show quickly became the #1 mix in the Bay Area. In 2001 his musical tastes shifted toward Hard House or what was then classified as NRG. In 2003 Frank Nitty went on hiatus after 10 years of non stop events. Five years later in 2008 Frank Nitty blew the dust off his turntables and started recording Breakbeat and Electro House mixes. During the summer of 2009 Frank Nitty open his mind to many variations of House Music. In 2010 Nitty returned to the House Nation crew as the Hitman kicking off the show every Saturday night at 1am on Movin 99.7 in the San Francisco Bay Area or globally on HouseNation.fm. Nasty, Agent K & Duece, Hydraulix, Maggotron, Scratch-D, Infiniti, R-Fresh, Beat Assassins, Krafty Kuts, Freestylers http://www.facebook.com/djfrequieg "Dropping beats old school style bringing together all genres of breakbeats with what my soul has experienced on and off of the dancefloor over the past decade. I really believe that passion is inside your soul... reach in, grab it, and never let it go. Never give up on your dreams!"dfg10' DJ Frequie-G is a self-made entity that has developed original style over the past few years through her ability of creating energy with her choice of track selection that takes you on a journey of sound. This up and coming female breakbeat DJ has released several mixes that have been downloaded across the world. Over the past few years of performing she has played alongside DJ Icey, DJ Doc Roc, DJ Babyanne, Brazen, Scratch-D, D-Lerium (Dustin Hulton) & Faze (Justin Faze), ; DJ Krisp, Rob Analyze, DJ Trashy, JayNicole, DJ Lord of Public Enemy and Aphrodite at events in Birmingham, AL, Club Lavela~Panama City Beach, FL, Nightown~Destin, FL, and Club Escape~Greenville, SC. Frequie's mixes have also been aired in Europe on Brap.FM's Squeaky Breaks Mixshow on August 27, 2008, won a guestspot on Dirty Drumz Radio hosted by Chris Heathen & DJ Exodus on September 11, 2008 that featured Terry Mullan as a guest DJ, and was featured on UW Parkside College Radio Show hosted by Carl Miller at www.wipzradio.com on June 14, 2008. DJ Frequie-G also hosted an internet electronic music show at www.cfxrnetradio.com in which she did a bi-weekly mix show with local guest djs. Through the years breaks have evolved as well as her style and she has discovered that her true passion is bass and truskool sound. Although born and raised in Alabama many have mistaken her from being from Florida due to her distinct mixing style. With strong Florida influences she does aspire to be in Florida someday and to rock many parties. If you asked her what her most memorable performances would be she would say playing after DJ Babyanne at Finesse in Birmingham, AL, her appearance at Club Lavela in Panama City Beach, FL rocking the tables in the Underground after DJ Trashy and Doc Roc, her Labor Day set at Nightown in Destin, FL despite Hurricane Gustav, turning over an energized rocking dancefloor to DJ Trashy via a smashing ehop set at Club Zen in Birmingham, AL, being on the bill with her hero DJ Icey at Revitalize 5.0 in Birmingham, AL and opening for DJ Brazen & Scratch-D of Dynamix II for the Bring on the Beats Weekender Tour stop in Birmingham, AL. She would also say it was an awesome feeling being watched by one of her heros, Scratch-D. Many dreams have come true over the past few years but this is only the beginning. ;. .. Vote for FREQUIE-G at http://www.thedjlist.com Grab this Badge .... DJ Icey is my utmost and number one influence. The man moved me for years on the dance floor and I mixed his tracks in my head for years.... now I'm doing it! DJ Doc Roc for his ability to move a crowd and great respect for his mastering of technique through turntablism and track selection. DJ Babyanne for being the very first female that i witnessed on the decks and her bass pumping smooth style. Last but not least DJ Konnekt who has now relocated to Miami, he believed in me and inspired me, still does, and always will.
