After that he decided to learn how to be a DJ. He learned himself by listen a lot of disco mix cassettes and try to do a mix with his own gears (a pair of oldskool modified tape decks added with pitch control, plus a selfmade simple mixer).</span> After that he started to DJ-ing in school partys when he was in high scool, and continue to perform as campus DJ at his college in Yogyakarta. In 2004, he going back from Yogyakarta to his hometown Cirebon, and while working as Music Director in radio station he still continue DJ-ing in several events and clubs, until now. DJ Winz is open for a wide various music, from classic disco up to gabba hardcore. This is the reason why he can play a lot of dance music style in his performance, but still always have a personal Winz’s Touch in his set.
