Ageing set of Pioneer CDJ 500's and Pioneer DJM500 mixer. They may be over 10yrs old but they still work faultlessly (touch wood..). Just getting myself into progressive psy-trance after playing the more full on 'vanilla' trance and hard house for years. Always searching for that spacey, hypnotic vibe with a fat rumbly bass line. And as I'm getting on a bit (late 30's..) I prefer my bpms in 127-135 range these days rather than the 140-150 of a few years back...though still dig out my old raving tracks for a mix up now and then :-) Short arse who looks like a cross between Moby and Phil Collins. Love Bovril on toast. Live in the south western 'burbs of London. John OO Fleming, Greg Downey, Christopher Lawrence, Carl Cox, Chemical Brothers, Karim, Ian M, Steve Thomas, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Matt Darey, Wizzy Noise, Ace Ventura, Queen, The Who, 80's Power Ballads/Soft Rock (Various), Zero 7, and so on...

Highly Condensed   Well it all started with Joey Beltrams Energy Flash then as I sought more and more   then came the German labels Force Inc,Labworks,Tressor, Tunnel, Trigger ZYX Harthouse, Fax,   etc etc From there it was back to Plus 8 and all the detroit stuff and then  guys like Resistence D, Luke Slater, Fuze, garnier's wake up song  to name afew..Then from UK for some hard UK steppin and then Ausralia for guys like Zen Paradox  but through all that I never lost the love of the  german sound with the squelchy 303's and huge 808's   around this time I came across MFG's first  then the album Ever After by KoxBox from there the rest is history and the future is infinite.      if I were to list every record or compliation I have ever played that's all this page would be about :-)   PT

I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.
