Originally hailing from a small rural town called Qwa Qwa in the Free State, Phex is now living in Pretoria. His music interests includes Jazz, Underground Hip Hop/Rap, Soul/Neo Soul/R&B, Instrumentals, Downtempo, Ambient, and Deep House, which is influenced by various artists, DJs, and producers from all over the world.
