Abuncha stuff connected together with wires. Sometimes I got something, sometimes I got different stuff. Sometimes I gotta pair of headphone hanging from a shower stall plugged into the mic on my laptop.

bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Sound Lab belt drives ... good huh? lol   but i, and others learnt how to mix on them and were better for having done so as other DJ's, who only ever played on technics couldn't play on anything else lol   i love oldskool ... 92 is probz my fav year though i love to play 93/96 funky house   Though i much prefer playing on the 1210's, i have embraced technology and will happily play on any media (CD's, USB's, Midi Controller or even just stand-alone VDJ)   you can catch me playing online on alternate Sunday's on OSKP Radio from 4-5pm (UK time) www.oskp-radio.com   you can also see videos of my shows on my FB page here https://www.facebook.com/tonydjtstanding main FB profile https://www.facebook.com/DJTonyStanding My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/DJTonyStanding?feature=plcp

DJXKhanThursday 7pm live broadcast on gremlinradio.com. Solitary Confinement w/ DJXKhan on the web or on your smart phone through SHOUTcast. Search gremlinradio.com pick the quality of your stream and bang it. Gremlins shoutcast addresshttp://www.shoutcast.com/Internet-Radio/Gremlin%20RadioDJXXhan Welcome to Florida My first commercially available mix.http://mixes.beatport.com/#mix/2386 Support breakbeat artists 90% of the proceeds go to the label an artist. Brought up on hip hop.New to DJing. Old Skool EDM fan. I was a hard core raver in Tampa back in the 90's. My first exposure to EDM was back in Tampa Bay at a teen club in Brandon called OFF limits. . Tracks like James Brown is dead, dominator, out of space, and go speed racer. First time I heard it I was like wow this is incredible. I started hitting Tampa night clubs like the Krush in downtown Tampa where mostly hip hop and booty music was being played. But every so often they would throw in some EDM like let me be your fantasy,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and planet soul. My love for EDM grew. I attended my first late night at a club in Tampa called Ozone. I was confused it was 4am Sunday morning what the hell am I and all these people doing partying at this hour. My cousin car was towed we left at about 5 and over all it was not a good experience. A few months later I met an exotic dancer and we become very close friends. She was a total raver. She use to come home Sunday morning in the best mood wide awake and offered to take me to a place called the Fantasy Ranch. Now I get it. I feel in love with the scene the vibe and the people. Never in my life had I felt so accepted. I attended the Fantasy Ranch almost every weekend after that except when there was a festival going on. The scene became my life. All week I would look forward to Saturday night. When I say the scene was my life I am not exaggerating. I became involved in illegal activities at these events. Many times during rave years i did want to start djing. I was just to involved in other aspects of the scene I just never got to it. In 2001 after many arrests, probation and house arrest I was finally forced into early retirement by HCSO and the FDLE. I ended up with a 10 year prison sentence. I came home in early 2009 with a large list of things I wanted to do with my life. Djing was one of them. I realize I my never play a big club or event. I don't care I look at it as a passion. Things were different when I came home. I went to the clubs I use to go to and they no longer played the music I partied to. It was a different scene bottle service, dress codes and hip hop dj's. I use to be able to go out every night of the week and have a choice of which clubs I wanted to attend that played my music. Now its hard to find a club that plays breaks at least one night a week. So now I don't go out unless its a planned event to see DJs that are in town. I learned a trade on my own while I was inside.

Roy-Edwards
Roy-Edwards

Roy started listening to electronic music in the late 90s. At that time he was mainly into trance and brakes. Then one night he went to a show the State Palace Theater where he watched DJ John Kelly perform, thats when Roy found his passion for house music. In 1998 Roy landed his first residence at a club called The Balcony. Roy was known for hyping up the crowd all night long while improving his technical skills. After playing at The Balcony for about a year, he started looking for a bigger crowd. At that point Roy went to Florida and played with the production company Stimulas. After playing along side some of the most respected DJs in the world, Roy decided to bring his style of tribal music to his hometown of Slidell. Once he was back home, Roy helped start a production company named Statik. Thats where all the fun began. Throwing two to three shows a week, Roy was being heard of and respected through the entire south. You can catch him performing at many hot spots throughout Louisiana.
