Terraπ (pronounced TerraPi) is the alias of Maurice from Germany, who first appeared behind the turn tables in 2010. His name originates from his love to nature (terra lat. = earth) and the letter π (:pi), which stands for eternity. The combination of these words sounds like therapy. A meaningful name, as he says, since music is some kind of therapy for him. Terraπ describes his sound as creaky with screwing acid and dynamic basslines, which will pitchfork you onto the next level. Playing with spheres and vibes - at the same time building up and maintaining almost geometrical structures just like the classic orchestra music by J. S. Bach - he brings elves, gnomes and goblins to life ;-) After five years of learning the mixing process and performing in rather private surroundings, he decided to share his passion with others. To accomplish that goal he became a member of the chaishop.com-family in 2015. In August 2018 Terraπ became an official dj for the legendary label Spontaneous Aerobics from Munich, Germany. Only one month earlier in July 2018 he started to work for the newly founded label Root Sector Records.
