Dj Pete Lind
Dj Pete Lind

''Updated 2020.11.08'' Hey! I'm DJ Peter from Eksjö, Sweden. Contact info: dmkonsulten@live.se, +46 706563029. I'm a DJ since 1985 and still enjoys it very much. For the last couple of years I've been fortunate enough to have DJ'ing as my full time job, doing +200 gigs a year. I adapt my mixing according to the genres and expectations from the crowd, but I always try to build an atmosphere that take my audience to some kind of euphoric happiness. Straight forward mixing doesn't leave much room for errors but when it's tight. it's beautiful. I like progress and I embrace new technology as long as knowledge and skill is what's behind the use of it. Here, I can listen to all your nice uploads and get inspired to learn new stuff. I play a lot of funk/soul/disco originals and only manual mixing does it as you have to ''feel'' the mixes to get 'em right. That's why I never use sync 'n' rarely the quantize function. All my mixes are made in one take. No editing. I prepare my music, not my mixes. What you hear, is what you can expect to hear when I play live. Unless something critical happens, I don't restart the recording. Some people don't agree with me in this, but for me to do it in another way, would be like cheating to my customers. So yes, there will be errors once in a while and that's how it is. There's no start overs in real live gigs, and that's what I practice for. You who take your time to listen to my mixes here, are just as important to me as the crowd in a venue, so I put the same focus in my mixes as I do on live gigs. Equipment Current Gear: Mixer: DJM-900Nxs2, DJM-2000, DJM-800, DJM-450, DJM-250 CD-player: 2 CDJ-2000Nxs2, 2 XDJ-700, All-In-One: XDJ-R1/Laptop/iPad Controller: DDJ-RB. Legacy Gear: This I sometimes use just for fun: 4 CDJ-500II, 3 CDJ-500S, 2 CDJ-200, 4 CDJ-1000Mk3, 1 CMX-3000, DJM-350, DJM-300, DJM-500, DJM-600 Headphones: HDJ-2000Mk2 & HDJ-X10K & some 19'' Mixers from when I started in the mid 80's. Missing: 2 Technics 1210's with Ortofon Stylus nightclub Most of my gear are also used in various DJ workshops, and I'm old enough to see the sentimental value of the gear I've been using over the years :) . Every piece bring back memory's of long gone clubs and people I've met and got to know.

GeneticDysfunction
GeneticDysfunction

Genetic Dysfunction was born from the meeting between St.Paul and David Scrufari in 1990. As for Jean-Loup Ribordy (keyboard) and Vicky Peters (vocals), they joined the live band in the psychedelic acid trance style a few months later. On December 31, 1995, the live band U.V.W. (new name of Genetic Dysfunction) was born within the Cyberpunk Movement and the founders left it in 1997. In 2009, St.Paul returned to the helm of Genetic Dysfunction and was joined by Sick Spud from 2010 to 2015. A real fusion between computers, analogical and digital instruments, Genetic Dysfunction offers an improvised show mixing downtempo, house, techno, acid and psychedelic goa trance sounds to deliver a real live experience. Original organic music that takes the audience on a real journey through the best of electronic music. Two years of research have enabled St.Paul to achieve an assumed improvisation, a totally spontaneous creation, in short, immediacy erected as art. An artistic exposure that inspires the dancefloor according to the alchemy born of the present moment. Here, there is no time to raise your arms because the set does not consist in pressing the "play" button, but in a real technical jam-session, engaging and powerful in communion with the audience. Aliases: Mood Ticket (Live & Dj), St.Paul (Dj), St.Paul on acid (Live & Dj), Digital Pirates (Live)

DJ-Pascal-Belgium
DJ-Pascal-Belgium

Born in august 1969, DJ Pascal has always had a true passion for music. Since a young age - let’s say as soon as he was able to hold a 7” record in his hand - he was the one at home who had to put the records on the turntable and play them. So his mum says… In the beginning there was… The radio The story starts in the Summer of 1982 when he gets the opportunity to visit the studio of a local radio station. Mesmerized by this universe, he starts to host shows on different local radios. His adventure in the world of radio stations will go on for almost 10 years. Even though it has not much to do with mixing, it really carved him out a solid musical background and knowledge. First spin... At about 15, he discovers a new sensation when friends ask him to deejay at their birthday parties. Well let’s be honest, at this point, it is closer to “play records” than mixing, really… In 1987, he contacts one of the biggest events company in Braine-l’Alleud, the city where he lives. At this time, they need deejays for all kind of events, parties, weddings, etc. So they offer him the opportunity to start working for them from time to time. And so it all begins… In da club... In the late 80’s, he gets his first experience mixing in a club, La Belle Alliance, as a replacement dj. Kind of different than mixing for private parties, just as fun but way more exciting! 1990-1992: He works for the first time as resident DJ in a club called J.C. Club in Brussels. 1994-1997: He starts to work in the club Arc-En-Ciel, near Waterloo. 1998-2001: Paradox, a gay club in Ghent. 2001-2003: L’Espace 80 (The 80’s room of the Palladium in Baisy-Thy). 2003-2004: L’EXM in Walhain. 2006 up to this day: Le Rétro in Plancenoit, near Waterloo. Along those years, he never stopped improving his skills to mix flawlessly the pure disco from the late 70’s, as well as the music from the 80’s (his teenager years!) Nevertheless, Dance, House, Deep House, Trance, Progressive or even Retro House are some of his favorite styles. Beside the exclusive edits that he realizes for his performances, DJ Pascal also started since 2013 to remix some 80’s classics and even started to compose original tracks. More than ever, music is his force, his passion, his life. To be continued…

I started listening to music since he was 8 years old, my first console I got it at 17 I was delighted with the years 80s, then I am passed to the techno-acid. They were good times and all vinyl. In 1994 I started to appreciate techno -hardcore, after which they are passed to the hardcore and still are today. I'm not a professional DJ. I also began to appreciate the genre hardstyle and rawstyle. However I like all kinds.
