26,000 years ago, the earths internal kundalini energy changed. Shifting the spiritual energy of every inhabitant, from the harmonious understanding of involution and heartfelt unity, into the dark ages. Since that time, the brain has strived for dominance over the hearts true connection to the source. In a process of evolution, where the energy is directed outwardly into the world, the ego of the mind has concentrated itself on dividing every element of perception, in a desperate attempt to exact control. Thought has dominated intuition. Separating us further and further from our true essence. It was a natural process, necessary to experience infinite duality, time, and spiritual dis-connection. so that when the earths energy once again shifts back into involution. We will remember this journey, cementing the understanding of oneness. We are on the cusp of this energy change, souls are beginning to experience energy shifts within themselves. The time where organized thought rules inner knowing, is coming to an end. The days where music written with a vision of wealth in the mind succeeds, are numbered. The time is upon us where intuitive creativity will be at the forefront of progress. Fifth Dimension will harness these high energies, and let the music write itself. They are not producers, They are messengers. Not bound by the restrictive rules of genre, Not bound by the feeling of judgement created by the ego. Bound only by the need to bring others together. Your inner self has a message for you, and Fifth Dimension will appear to provide it.

I am a Trance DJ from Sacramento California. I started listening to Trance when I was about 15 and have been hooked ever since. In 2001 I was given 2 Technics SL1200's and a box of records from a local legend Dj Dennis. I was a terrible DJ for many years, but over time I honed my talents and became proficient. Now I use a custom mapped Midi controller and Traktor to mix and record. :)

The Beatfreeks birth name is John Pleece and he was born on the eve of July, and is currently residing in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, United Kingdom. He was introduced to music at a fairly young age, when John was growing up his Dad used to play bass guitar, write and perform backing vocals in his own band, also his Dad used to be part of a DJ duo, playing out at weddings and parties and John helped out with the setting up of the rig, and this is how The Beatfreeks story began. John has been mixing records for near enough 14 years now and he is a self-taught vinyl DJ, originally mixing Drum & Bass, Techno and Trance, and although The Beatfreek is still a vinyl connoisseur at heart, he felt that is was time to make the switch over to a digital DJ set up. The Beatfreek has also been known under other aliases such as Psyvibes, DJ JT and Jonny P. Under his Jonny P moniker, he had held various radio residencies with regular live shows per week. It was tough to keep to the schedule but his drive, determination and a passion for fresh music kept him going, you could say that music was his drug of choice. The Beatfreek also Co-founded, Co-owned a digital only record label: Thee Unknown Recordings, and he also ran his own internet radio station too. Finally he ran his digital record label alongside Tyler Deveneaux and in later days Solace One, but due to personal issues beyond their control the label was eventually dis-banded. Label History: Thee Unknown Recordings was a digital only record label, releasing electronic music in various dance music genres. The project was originally thought up way back in late 2008 by two friends Tyler Deveneux, and Jonny Teknotik (who would later be re-named Jonny P). These two friends had shared a mutual interest in countless music genres, so it made perfect sense that these two friends eventually formed a musical partnership. When Thee Unknown Recordings was in it`s fledgling year they were simply named Thee Unknown. Thee Unknown was the chosen persona of the duo's musical partnership, with Tyler supplying the duos tracks and Jonny was the duos DJ, DJing under the name Jonny P, and playing out live with residencies on various radio stations. The duos passion for fresh music grew, and they decided to branch out and approach budding producers with the intention to set up their own record label, and this is how Thee Unknown Recordings was born. Present Day: After his record label and radio station closed it's doors, The Beatfreek has thrown himself back into his mixing. He now concentrates on experimenting and mixing with Hard Trance, Techno, Drum & Bass, and all things psychedelic. On a final note Jonny has also ventured into the world of producing, producing Drum & Bass and Techno, and is also the Co-Owner and in-house DJ of a new experimental record label: THB Records which he now runs with his brother. Much love one and all, and your continued support is much appreciated. Never as a youngster in a million years did I ever think I'd be mixing dance tunes .....My love was ( still is a bit ) heavy rock / thrash metal . Seen em all from AC/DC to ZZ Top , it all changed seeing Metallica in 84 tho , then a few years later Slayer. The energy was addictive . Used to make compilation tapes for my friends . It wasn't until attending an Ozric Tentacles concert did it all change again. It was in the very early start to the 90's. Eat Static were support , I witnessed a concert crowd mutate into a full blown dance event , when Static came on. Now , prior my rock / metal days, as a kid , I was brought up on the likes of Bowie , Queen , Donna Summer 10cc , disco and then Jean Michelle jarre . I think those seeds sown as a youngster were suddenly awakened, they surpassed my love of heavy rock that night on the dance floor that night and with Eat Static had me dancing like a loon. I was hooked . I found my groove from moshing and headbanging to dancing non stop . From then on , visited all manner of hedonistic parties. I dicovered goa / psy trance. The parties expanded, likes of Megadog .Return To the source, Otherworld , Earth dance ect ect ...that worm grew . So , as I always loved making mix rock tapes I decided to try ( still trying ) mixing Goa and Psy trance - starting with a pair of Sony discman's onto an old tape deck ! The rest is history . My efforts may not be brilliant , but if at least one of my attempts at mixing catches the ear then its all good . I'm humbled to be able to be given the opportunity to try and mix and share such wonderful , energetic shamanic dance tunes and totally besotted by this genre's sound nearly 30 yrs on . Main flight deck ( spare bedroom static set up ) is made up of a 2 pairs of Pioneer cdj 400's. a djm 800 mixer , recording MP3' ,CD's onto a Reloop 2 Mp3 recorder , no pc , I've also just started separately using a Numark Mixdesk Express ( very impressive ) or a pair of 2nd hand cdj400's & a pioneer DJM 250 Mk 2 mixer . I use the Mixdesk / 400's as a basic set up (at present on the kitchen - table foot injury doesnt permit standing at my main set up, - which drives the mrs mad ) again no pc or Serato , but using Mp3 sticks or cd's onto a Reloop 2 MP3 recorder. I'm amazed at the simplicity of the Reloop recorder - its an enjoyable addition to a set of basic decks. Recently Ive obtained a Numark. Mixdeck go pro . No matter what system tho , I still refuse to use any corrective programs or editing on any set up , so what you hear is totally real, mistakes included , first off mixing -RAW , what you hear is exactly as in the moment BUT thats my own choice. I just hope my efforts tickle the space between your ears . GOA / PSY TRANCE always has , and always will be my altar , my religion . BOOMSHANKA! Love n peace - Oz - Sickrabbit
