I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... Michael Samardjiev a.k.a. Dj Mixi Mike, was born in 1976 in Sofia and began to take up music still in his childhood. His first music activities were connected with the piano, which made him win two first piano prizes. He started his DJ career in 1993 at the well known at that time disco clubs IBS, Anaconda and The hole. The mixing passion changed into a thrill and a serious occupation and he started to present himself at crack then Bulgarian clubs – Galaxy club, Amadeus, 33 Club, Rhythm, Avanty, Primo, Kapia Telegraph (Vidin), Perfect, No name (Bansko), 34 Club, Messalina (Sandanski), Criminale, Caligula (Albena), Las Vegas, Orbilux, performing prefered styles as disco, R&B and house. 1997 is the most successful year, when he got the most prestigious award ‘The 97’ commercial DJ’. He went on his DJ career at The Eye, Pri kmeta, The Place, The Library, Piccadilly (Velingrad). Meantime he performed himself as broadcaster. His appearance carried on at Rila (Borovets), Dali, Brilliantine (Sunny beach), Arrogance (Georgia), Tequila (Burgas) Plazza Disco legend, Studio 54 (Burgas) Intrigue, Relax - Sofia , Caldo - Sofia , Cabare - Sofia , Valentin - Yambol , Jim Beam - Sofia , Beach Bar FLY - Primorsko North Beach and many more, presenting styles as deep, soulfull, progressive house and old school retro music. I was born in london and i have been DJ ing on the Radio and in the clubs in London since 1993, Over the years i have done weekly shows on Ministry of sound.com, Chillin Fm, Shine 87.9fm, Y2K 90.6 FM and Origin 95.2 FM, i have played at many clubs in London including...Ministry of sound , Area, the End, Cargo, Rouge, Brixton Academy, Scala ,Bar Rumba and the Notting Hill Carnival to name a few. i Have Worked in Ibiza , Amsterdam,Thailand,Malaysia,Barcelona, France, and Miami. Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I've been djing for since 2007 and been mad on it since then.taught myself to play,it all started at vibes cocktail bar watching the djs,theyd let me play in the mornings then one night they threw me in the deep end by telling me to play for a crowd.i panic but i got through it.the first time is always the best dontcha think? ; dj christos is the reason iwanted to dj,when u lisen to him play its like he's playing a song for 30mins but hes changed it 15 times...killah!!! lars berenroth is another one,osunlade,atjazz,alain ho,shur-i-khan,black coffee,manoo....and tons more
