I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... Not to be confused with MC Fast Eddie (Edwin A Smith), Eddie Scott IS Chicago' ORIGINAL (DJ F@$t EdD!e) a nickname his uncle Nate Scott {deceased} gave him while he helped his uncle DJ a family BBQ at 7072 S. Justine in Chicago. (IE) his uncle took a bathroom break & told Eddie to watch the tables, but Eddie was already 3 songs in. When he returned, Nate called 10 yr old Eddie "Fast OLD Eddie". But shorten it to Fast Eddie, now known as a an old school artist, DJ & musician since July 4,1978. After attending Chicago's famous Mendel H.S. (the bi level) in 1982, Corliss H.S. 1983-85, then finally Hillcrest H.S. in 1988 to obtain his GED. Eddie moved to try out his musical skills with others like him in the area. He ran into a skilled local DJ in the next building who wanted him to become one of the original members of a deejay group called "The Housemasters" (along with Rockin' Reggie (Harris), Corey (Rogers), Ellery (Cowles). On April 7, 2011 he married his soulmate Deatrice Ivory. FOLLOW ME & Enjoy "THE" ultimate music experience.
