Alessandro Barbera aka Dj Lucifer aka SOULEXIS aka D.Lab, starts his passion for music as a child, when any radio, tape recorder, record player, and so on, was turned into a console for mixing. The first steps are moved in the disco family where Alessandro spent long hours learning the tools of mixing, and working since 1989. He starts officialy mixing in clubs from 1994. From there, a series of winter and summer clubs that have consecrated the working capacity, ductility music, with a greater work experience. The important year for Alessandro, is 1998, when he meets LAZARO MARTIN DIAZ, the art director of PALACAVICCHI of Ciampino (Rome). Starts a great collaboration, that make a big grown of the club, up to 7000 precences. The year 2013 marks the end of the collaboration between Dj Lucifer and the Palavicchi, after 15 years of working together. In addition to maintaining contact with the work of Djing, Alessandro in 2012, begins his first productions under the name of SOULEXIS (Soulful, Deep & Lounge Chillout) and D.LAB (House, Tech House & Deep Tech). His clubs: Air terminal, Alien 2, Black Jack, Ciak Mol, Ethos, Event, Vogue, Iceberg, Il castello, Ruscello, Jam Session, Gilda on the Beach, Koala, Luci Lugi, La Nuit, Magic Fly, Mirò, Mucca pazza, Sunshine, Tattou, Testaccio Village & Palacavicchi (1998 - 2013 dj Resident). The future?? Who knows .......

My name is Zaid Abdulrahim from Long Island, NY. I am the DJ/founder of Soulful Horizons Music which started in 2014 throwing its first parties in Harlem USA. My style of music is soulful and Afro House music that touches the spirit. As Louie Vega once told me his first advice to any DJ is to "Play from the heart". From the humble beginnings of throwing my own events in order to get exposure we are excited to establish Soulful Horizons Music. The story starts at about age 5 being blessed with a natural gift of dance. Being able to feel the music unlike others around me and interpret that into a dance motion that was considered very smooth and fluid. I continued to use that feeling to determine what is good music to my soul and what is not but what makes me move. I started off as a rapper at age 12 surrounded by Djs such as Biz Markie, Diamond Jay and Diamond Shell thus the introduction to beat production and studio exposure was given to me at a very impressioonable point in my life and has stuck with me ever since. My family has been in music production for many generations. Starting with Thom Bell who produced for the Stylistics, Delfonics, Elton John, Dionne Warwick and James Ingram to name a few. Followed by Ron Bell who is one of the founding members of Kool and the Gang. Also, Jerry Bell from the Daz Band, Archie Bell of Archie Bell and the Drells and Leroy Burgess the lead singer and producer from the group Black Ivory. As time passed I gravitated more towards the positive energy of House Music and the Love I saw in the culture. I have been blessed to meet many beautiful people. In 2015 I teamed up with the Are You Afro? Movement in the WMC Miami 2015 Conference. This was a major breakthrough for me because I was given an opportunity to open for Anane and Louie Vega at the Nulu Party along with playing three dates with Are you Afro? I am very thankful for those chances to shine and I am using the momentum to take advantage of a bright future. My goal has always been music production and we have finally reached that stage. We currently have dates across the nation coming up. Music releases and collaborations will be distributed world wide with our chain of partners. i am an old skooler - QUALITY old skool mixes still make me feel 18 again. anyone uploading QUALITY old skool house / acid , as well as new and old deep house , SHALL be checked out. never gone pro , but had a decent amatuer reputation at the odd illegal rave back in the day - set fire to my 1210,s at one famous event by leaving a big fat smoking one lying on the mixer leads without noticing !!! house it people - PEACE.

It all started back in the 80's when I casually collected 12" records beginning in the 7th/8th grade (yes, seriously); eventually, I got the DJ bug in '92 while I was stationed in the Air Force in Germany. Born & raised in Chicago, I grew up listening to the usual suspects in the Chicago House scene (Ron, Frankie, Farley, etc.) but, the truth is, I was exposed to multiple genres of music (jazz, funk, blues, country, reggae, etc.) from the time I was 1st able to process it to the present. I can switch it up from Disco to House to Techno to Drum & Bass & anything/everything in between at the drop of a hat; it's all about what I'm feelin' at the moment. If this sounds like something U can roll with, then it is very fortunate we have crossed paths and you are most welcome 2 find what suits your tastes here.
