DJ Kidd Kurrupt was born on Dec 8,1987 in LaPlata Maryland.At the tender age of ten I started dj'ing for the very first time in June 1,1998 at a underground reggea bashment an after my first gig I was hooked. I found out at a young age that I had a ear for music and a talent for mixing differnt genres of music like old school hip hop,reggae, and funk. My father was a DJ at the time also and he noticed that I was practicing on the turntables every chance that I got. My father started me off with a few gigs on saturdays at local block parties during the summer time.After a few gigs I started to make a name for myself in the neighborhood as the young kidd that can put it down on the turntables. A few years went by and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt started to get more shows and a large following in the underground reggeaton scene and techno raves. I soon started to draw hundreds of people to my live sets. One day I met a club promoter while networking at a local mall, the two exchanged numbers and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt invited him out to watch him perform at a show. When the club promoter saw the way I showed my skills, worked the crowd, and my ablilities with mixing and scratching; he decided to give me- this young and upcoming DJ a chance to spin at one of the biggest dance clubs in Maryland at the time. I play all forms of trance music like uplifting trance, vocal trance,progressive trance and psy trance.I also play wide variety of music such as oldschool/newschool Hiphop, R&B, Soul, Nu-Soul, Funk, Oldies electro, dubstep, Rap, Underground Hiphop, Reggae, Culture Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Culipso, Ragga, Ragga Jungle, tech house and technomusic. I can alos mix it up with Trance, Techno, Dance, Reggeaton, Salsa, Dirty South Rap, and Hindu music! Born on June 14th, 1985 in Nashville, Tennessee U.S.A. but mostly grew up in Bangkok, he was raised in an urban culture. Influenced by all kinds of progressive environment since his young age, he experimented in a mixture of music genres such as Jazz, Classical, Rock, Hip Hop, and especially Electronic Music, etc. In 2001, the notion of communicating with people through live music performing became his main focus when he journeyed to study in United States. He started listening to different breeds of music and became a devoted fan of Electronic Dance Music when he discovered the organic sound of "Trance Music" from one of his colleagues during time in high school. He soon realized that the art of music has the ability to express emotional thoughts. He became captivated in sharing music and his passion came through the art of Djing in which he can convey his devotion and love to audiences. Connecting people with his performing art is a driving force which pushes him to generate further impacts. Inspired by pioneering icons in Electronic Music scene such as Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, and ATB, Hype Viper quickly started to develop his energetic skills & techniques of mixing/producing in which he is known best for today. i was starting with House in 1988 on the Amiga 500 and later on the AMiga 1200 with Hardcore House and Produced many trackz in that periode. [with soundtracker] a few years later i sold all the stuff after a while and only listen to music from that time , untill 2007 when i discovered that music and dance was still a passion for me , and when i did find out that stuff to make dance music has made huge steps forward and was much more easy and fun to use the last 4 years i bought a new equipment like samplers , mixers and keybord and started to make dance trackz again and started to build a home based Studio for making Trance music also i discovered not long ago that i like to mix and djíng , so bought a Vestax mixer at first and enjoyed that so much that i decided to buy a Better Mix consolle the Native Instrument Traktor S4 instead for producing i like to work with Fl Studio on windows and Logic on the Mac for Mixing i use a macbook pro ,Traktor s4 ,Pioneer Hdj1000 and 2xWD 2tb ext hd for trackz source Genre i like to do : Trance , progressive house And club and from now and then a little Dirty house Favorite dj's and artist : Armin van buren , MArkus schulz , Ferry corsten , Johan Gielen http://www.facebook.com/mosfet.kickerlivinloud
