Levin Scheips born 1985 is a german artist based in bielefeld, north rine-westphalia. He started his career as a dj and producer early 2008 and in the begining he merely recorded some podcasts for his private audience like just everyone. Addicted to music making, meeting and learning from a lot of good producers he has grown in what he’s doing till today. On stage Levin has found his own unique style to perform live with a bunch of midi controllers in combination with a classic dj act. The sound he plays is depending on the event but mostly in a kind of deep and driving techno that comes with a intense energy. Peaktime music! On the other hand in his studio levin is further more used to produce calm and melodical tunes. The releases and podcasts he builds are much more atmospheric, frisky and progressive. His Remix of „Pleasures“ from Max Cooper & BRAIDS or „Creatures“ from Ryan Davis & Applescal are two decent examples for this musical fashion. Nowadays Levin is a well known electronic music artist and a resident dj of the famous „Freunde der guten Musik“ & „Tiefklang“ events. In the vibrant fabric of my musical journey, 1993 marked a pivotal moment. It all started after my enlightening stay in India, a trip that ignited the creative fire within me. Fueled by newfound inspiration, I embarked on a sonic adventure and pooled my resources with like-minded friends to purchase our first studio gear. The wheels were set in motion and within a few months the dynamic force known as Bassline Generation was born. We have carved our niche as pioneers in the German drum 'n bass scene and are proud to be pioneers in a genre that has only just found its roots. Our live performances became legendary and graced the stages of famous events such as Meditation, Jungle Fever and many more. Over the years the winds of change blew and I found myself drawn to all areas of electronic. At this stage of my journey, I took on the role of sound curator, tirelessly searching the musical landscape for gems created by the genre's best producers. Each track was carefully selected, weaving a tapestry of innovation, cool vibes and irresistible grooves. My mixtapes became a canvas upon which these sonic masterpieces found a home, a testament to the diverse and ever-evolving nature of electronic music. AS MY FATHER USED TO BE A DRUMMER ! I DISCOVERED MY LOVE TO THE MUSIC IN MY URLY AGES. WITH 12 YEARS I STARTED TO DO MI FIRST MIX TAPES'S AND 2 YEAR LATER I DID SPIN MY FIRST TIME IN A LOCAL CLUB IN OUR VILLAGE BECAUSE OF MY JOB I HAD TO STEP BACK WITH THE MUSIC .... FIEW YEARS LATER I RESTARTED WITH DJ'ING AND DID BUILD UP MY OWN HOME STUDIO. FROM TIME TO TIME I USED TO PLAY IN SOME LOCAL CLUBS ARROUND ZÜRICH, BUT I NEVER DID IT PROFESSIONAL, IT WAS ALWAYS A HOBBY AND LOVE TO THE MUSIC FOR ME. 2 YEARS AGO I COMPLETLY RESTARTED WITH THE MUSIC AND KEEP PUSHING IT IN ALL WAYS AND DIRECTIONS .....

Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I have had a music studio called Soundfactory for about 20 years and produce tracks and mix different tapes Nu Disco Deep House Soul Funk Jazz everything I like and if you feel like it you are welcome

Hi there,im 30 years old,from Cologne,Germany.my style is progressive psytrance - i always try to spice it up by some techno flavour,that`s where my roots at .-) i started dj`ing in 1999-i was very active in the local techno scene but i stopped in 2005 because of all this "minimal" stuff,also seeing that the good vibes are gone... and finally this wasnt the kind of techno music that i liked for years... i paused completely,sold my equipment and took a timeout...in 2008 i finally rediscovered my passion with electronic music in the psychedelic trance scene.Last year i decided to start again after this long pause,feeling like a newbie again today im mixing digitally with native instruments traktor pro/controller/laptop-times are changing and the possibilities are endless.. all mixes are 320kbps,non edited don't forget:keep it psy! prog on,stomp on,smile on .-)
