Hi, I love DJ'ing, I'm doing it for several years now. I mix different styles of music: chill-out, psybient, ambient, progressive tech/trance, blunted beats, jazz or some abstract atmospheric music. I choose records who have an emotional impact on myself and others. I don't listen to mainstream radio-stations. These days I'm mostly active in psybient, ambient and progressive music. Used to DJ with Traktor, but I now use Ableton exclusively. A huge amount of artists. Most notably: Sasha, Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Marcus Schossow, Benny Benassi, Sander van Doorn, and Gareth Emery.

Ableton Live 6 Don't DJ Hey there. My name's Rowan Canute and I'm a 30 year old from the South of England. At the age of 15 I discovered electronic music and started going to endless trance parties in London. In 2001 I began experimenting with hardware synthesizers along side my studies, until the decision was made to intertwine the two which lead to a BA (HONS) degree in Music Production. While studying in Brighton, I began DJing as The BFG at local events such as Enlightenment, 180 degrees and XS. After a few years of gaining valuable knowledge in the art of producing I decided to concentrate solely on mixing my own tracks. Since then I've played my music at a few parties in the South of England alongside innovative UK talent such as OOOD, Psymmetrix, Error Corrective and Compressor. In 2008 I released a track called Planet Earth on SunDance records (Australia) and in the last couple of years i have been organising the release of a debut album.
