Born in 1977, near Chattanooga, TN, USA. ; I have been interested in mixing, DJing since 1995 or so. ; I really became interested in mixing/DJing around 1998/99. ; I learned to mix on a friend's tables and eventually got some of my own. I had a set of gemini semi auto's and a pioneer mixer/ crossfade. ; I ended up having to sell them b/c of lack of $$. ; I eventually ended up with a Hercules mix console which was more convenient for me to play around with in the office. ; I yearn for the days of old, and supple vinyl, and my old gemini's... ; Digital is good and all, and its more portable, but it just doesn't have the sound like the vinyl does. ; Maybe one day I can hook back up with some REAL mixing equipment. Jack of House are a pair of DJ's from the sunny streets of Brighton who live and breath for music. Friends since there school days, these music loving heroes have been spinning together on and off for over 10 years but have now finally decided to join forces and combine there extensive knowledge of all things musical. There solo ability to rock a crowd is legendary, as is there wide taste of music, and now as they come together the future most certainly looks bright. Not content with playing other peoples beautifully crafted music, they have naturally progressed into the studio to create and unleash there own brand of sounds that no sane person can stand still to. Music has always been the driving force which keeps me going. In the mid-eighties at the age of 12 I heard "Break for Love" by Raze and it changed my life. During my teenage years I was was getting familiar with the DJ scene and frequenting House record stores in the DC area like "12 Inch Records" and "Yoshi Toshi". In my years in the Dupont Circle underground and the Baltimore Club scene of the early to Late 1990's I have cultivated my style in a mixture of Disco, Jackin', Funk, Tech House, and Electro. As of recently I have made it my mission to come back to the scene and keep your body rockin' to the best that House has to offer.
