Starting his dj'ing life in the summer of 1991 at Bugatti's (basement) playing a mix of old skool hip hop,ragga & street soul he has gone on to be well versed in most dance music genres,most notably house music (electro,funky,breakbeat). Going on to gaining a 5 year residency at the now infamous Rendezvous bar (decadance) in 1995,around this time he was also regularly playing at such places as The ministry of sound,The cross,Bagleys Warehouse,The jellyfish (lanzarote),Pals to name but a few. Sticking to his home town roots of chelmsford he has regularly played at various venues in the town including Bar 2,Club fusion,The cellar bar,Bar seven,Qball,Reds & most recently Barhouse & now promotes & dj's alongside DOOSH producer DANNY OLIVER & local promoter & artist MIKE POWELL,holding there successful & ever growing monthly night "LOCAL LIFE". He has also ventured into radio,playing RENEGADE FM & LUSH back in the day & in february 2009 he teamed up with the successful ROUGHTEMPO crew,who were nominated for 3 international breakbeat awards at BREAKSPOLL 2010,where he had a weekly prime time show for 18 months,he was also heavily involved in the weekly running & promotion of the station.Making this move brought him into contact with such dj's/producers as ATOMIC HOOLIGAN,SCOUNDREL,JOE MORENA,INKEI,ELLIS DEE,CUT-LE-ROC,DOM PHYSICS,REJECTBEATS,LEEROY THORNHILL ,THE PLUMP DJ'S, KRAFTY KUTS & many more quality dj's,promoters & producers which will no doubt be a benefit to him in the future... He is the original chelmsford dj & we're pretty sure he'll be playing untill the bitter end.

Dj MizzFi always had a big love for all kinds of music. In her early years she likes the 80´s disco, later on rock and went to all kinds of festivalls and gigs. This was the time of Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi and Ozzy Ozborn. Her first contact with house music was in 1990 when house was an upcoming genre and was played in dark places. The love for this genre was born instantly. In the years that followed she grew in all kinds of music like Jazz, Opera, Classic and Dutch Music so she cultivalted a great hearing for sound. The last years she discoverd her great love for latin, tribal and dirty house. In 2006 she bought her first dj Vinyl set and started to practice. At Christmas 2010 she bought her fiirst pioneer Cd set and now, on the 7th May of 2011, Dj MizzFi had her first gig @ Kinky Paradise. Together with four of the male dj´s, Dj MizzFi is the Resident @ Kinky Paradise. Hi, I'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends! I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest DJ's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelley's, Institute and Coast 2 Coast. After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!! Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought I'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know.....
