DJ MZEE is returning to the turntables!!! Originally from Brno, DJ MZEE he voluntarily retired from his music career for some time, but his interest and passion for house music forced him to return to the club scene and change ordinary evenings into extraordinary experiences. DJ MZEE’s talent and passion for music have been obvious since the beginning of his career. In 1992, he began to play around clubs of Jablonne nad Orlici, with his friend Rene. Influenced by DJs such as Marshall Jefferson, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, etc., they organized and hosted parties that aimed to promote house music. DJ MZEE started playing independently in 1997, and after a year of playing in various Czech clubs, he became a resident DJ of the legendary Bristol Club in Letohrad, which was becoming THE place for top Czech and international DJs. In 1999, DJ MZEE added another resindency to his resume; this time in Remix Club in downtown Brno. After 4 years of mixing in two clubs and hosting numerous parties, it was time to catch a breath and gain new energy. At the end of 2009, however, this Czech DJ decided to return to his passion and please abundant fans of house music with his art.

ATTENTION! Please be aware I no longer post mixes on house-mixes. If you have happened to have recently discovered me or listened to me before, you can find me still posting mixes on soundcloud & mixcloud. Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. I currently mix for fun, but if the right opportunity presented itself Imight be interested in playing out again. My style of mixing is (I like to think) smooth, Itry to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I particularly enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job. My musical style usually falls into 3 categories; deep,soulful or nu disco but always funky. Would love to hear your comments on my mixes, don`t be shy. Click "Follow" and i will send you a notification (only) when i post a new mix. Don`t worry i do not notify as to what i am eating or watching on tv ala Facebook. FELLOW DJ`S PLEASE SEE BELOW; Please accept my apologies for not listening to everyone`s mixes, due to work and family commitments, the little free time I have is usually spent on seeking out new tunes or working on new mixes. I am aware I don`t listen to enough mixes and am trying to make more time for this. HOWEVER, when I do listen to a mix, I will provide an HONEST, THOUGHTFUL appraisal and whenrequested will offer constructive advice. Ido not"COPY & PASTE" feedback. I appreciate what DJ`s can put into a mix and the least I can do is take time to offer feedback befitting the quality of themix. House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Firstly break dance and boogaloo made me excited, later music and the Dj desktop. In the past 18 years being a Dj and a radio presenter used to be my life. In the ’90s hip hop, funk, soul and break battle music and parties described my career as both Dj and Mc and as a hobby dancing and freestyle rap. Between 2000 and 2002 my then Dj team and I won the DMC Dj Hungarian contest twice and in 2002 we performed at Brixton Academy in London during the World Championship. Besides I have been a Dj at national and international festivals and I worked for an American-owned record shop and this is how I developed my musical repertoire. I have got to know all kinds of styles from jazz to progressive music. At present I am preparing my mixes in several styles from chill out to breakbeat. My mixes can be heard in some countries such as the Greek beach officially for a place called Blue and White. During the parties I am making an effort to ease people as much as I can and to take out the happy and free feelings.
