His parents and neighbours soon got crazy from the music that came out of Patricks room. When he reached the age of 15, he got a mixing console from his nephew. Patrick bought 2 cd players, began mixing music a little bit and this was his biggest hobby for a number of years. In the meantime, together with his father, Patrick started a company, selling kitchens and install them as well and the music came on a sidetrack. The love for music however, never died. On 7th of June 2002 Patrick and Andrea got married. During their wedding celebration, DJ MIDNIGHTSTAR (Henny de Keijzer) was the dj. This "piece of energy" had already won the Stanton award and the Dutch Dj-trofee. Thanks to this man, Patrick was able to be dj on the GASTUH party in the Brunotti Beach club. At the end of 2006 Patrick bought 2 Pioneer CDJ 800 MK2 machines and began to exercise with them. In 2007, Patrick sold the MK2's again and bought 2 new Pioneer CDJ1000 MK3's and a DJM 800. After that, Patrick played a lot of music on parties with his mini-drive-in. After many parties being dj at home and on birthday and streetparties, Patrick felt that he was ready to move on. At the end of 2007 Patricks two best friends Tanja and Ed took him to Crazyland. This party had the consequence that listening to music and watching dj's became an addiction to him. On each party he visited, Patrick made conversation with the dj's and tried to get as much information as possible. On a large danceparty, Patrick talked to Frans (dj Justin-Control) and Michel (dj Mitch-b). Dj Justin Control ( formerly known as dj Franco ) teached him the use of the cue buttons on the mixing console and how to pitch at the edge. Also Edwin (dj Ed Mission) has helped Patrick a lot by giving him much information. After exercising again for about half a year, the "real thing" began. John & Yvonne of Kinky On The Beach gave Patrick the honour to be a real dj on their party for the very first time. He could do this for 15 minutes, standing in between of 2 dj's. Koos (dj KO-C) and José (dj Miss-J) however, made it possible for Patrick to play for half an hour and Patrick ended in the Line-up and on the big screen. 01:00 DJ TRIPACK tremulous stood behind the mixing consoles, with his pal Ed Mission by his side, just in case. After the first track the whole crowd was very excited. And everything went well. In the forum of Kinky On The Beach on Partyflock, visitors from the party suggested DJ TRIPACK in the line-up for the special Christmas party in December. His pals Frans ( Justin Control ) and Michel ( MItch-B ) asked Patrick to enter there line-up at the 6th of september for there B-LICIOUS party. B-LICIOUS This will be DJ TRIPACK's Very first full set on a real party. And On the 26th of December 2009 Patrick is standing in the LINE-UP again, thanks to John and Yvonne. KINKY ON THE BEACH Hopely many wil follow. Got 2 Pioneer CDJ1000, a few SL1200's, a pioneer CDM mixer, and some traktor stuff... see my (digital) playlists at http://www.playlists.hu , and I have a archive of ca. 8000 12" vinyls Artist names : DJ one 2 one, The Beatcollector, Da Maniac, DJ DEX, DJ T.O.M. Real name : Frans de Wit DJ-ing since : 70's Music-Style : House, Club, Hard Club, Techno, Progressive, Electronic, Trance, BPM range between 125 and 145 Thanks to DMC (Disco Mix Club) he made a lot (music-industry) friends all over the world, and at the moment he has also a lot of contacts around the world trough internet, in september 2009 the DMC World Championship had its 25th anniversary in London. DJ one2one grew up with music from Deep Purple, Yes, Led Zepplin, Frank Zappa, Kinks, Rolling Stones and began dj-ing at schoolparties with music like Mud, Sweet and a few years later some soul and discotunes like chic, trammps, sister sledge, (Saturday Night Fever) Bee-Gees, Michael Jackson etc. , wich resulted in a dj career with a mobile drive in show during the seventies. He started mixing at clubs in 1979 (just after the release of a linn-drum-machine). The hip-hop scene became popular with Joseph Saddler (born in the same year as Frans), better known as Grandmaster Flash (the message) aka the man who helped invent hip hop.... Grandmaster Flash spun vinyl records alongside DJ Herc at the fabled street gatherings in The Bronx. In 1982 & 1983 Frans was also sound technician by a disco-funk-rock-latin band called "Magrib". In 1984 he had his own radio-show called HitBox wich became very popular, maybe because he played the existing dance-hits of the moment, mixed with the dance hits of the (near) future. During his radio-shows a new hobby started : doing interviews with people from the music-scene, and let them do some station calls and name jingles. He interviewed people like Gloria Estefan (with Miami Sound Machine), Lime, Five Star, Adeva, The Trammps, Sister Sledge, Allison Williams, Kraze, Tina Turner.....and many more. In 1986 he started with turntabalism, kind of acrobatics with technics SL1200 turntables. Later in 1986 the warehouse parties started with People from England (thanx 2 SOHO connection with Maz Weston, Graham B. en Paul Jay) and house music became mainstream. As dj one2one he was a resident dj in many clubs (7 years resident in Club Luxor, Holland) In 1997 DJ one2one became world-champion in Fast-Mixing (mixing 19 different vinyl records in 2 minutes). Till today there is no DJ in the world who has beat that. Nowdays he is playing House-Energy-Trance-Progressive music, mostly with many different melody-lines in one song, and is well know for his long smooth mixes ! Today dj one2one has his own weekly radioshow at http://www.radiohitec.com called Dance 2 Trance, fridays 23:00 CET where he plays the hottest sounds from the clubscenes around the world. you can find his playlists on http://www.playlists.hu/radio-shows/dance2trance/ Paul van Dyk
