Than expressing myself 17 years young as nopromedia guy with projekt:watchyaself ,dj name:straighthead, a brutal hardcore using only thecd dj, without pitch. Than some 5 years later, after being to many parties and clubs, I starting to love the psychedelic grooves, In a small 'grachtenpand'club in Amsterdam, I had my first warm premier goa party. The club "MaZZ0" with dj Avi (Am*dam) played 7 days a week, original psychedelic techno/Goa. I became GOAHIPPY, also went to Anjuna (The paradise of drugs and booms)(India) There were at certain nights parties everywhere, in the jungle (Bamboo Forest), at the shore (Shiva Valley)(Prime Rose). And nowerdays I mix everything digital,with my small pc,resultjust perfect. I always publish mixes that are equal to the quality I experienced at the parties, and the cd shop mix cd's. Ableton Live 6 Don't DJ Hey there. My name's Rowan Canute and I'm a 30 year old from the South of England. At the age of 15 I discovered electronic music and started going to endless trance parties in London. In 2001 I began experimenting with hardware synthesizers along side my studies, until the decision was made to intertwine the two which lead to a BA (HONS) degree in Music Production. While studying in Brighton, I began DJing as The BFG at local events such as Enlightenment, 180 degrees and XS. After a few years of gaining valuable knowledge in the art of producing I decided to concentrate solely on mixing my own tracks. Since then I've played my music at a few parties in the South of England alongside innovative UK talent such as OOOD, Psymmetrix, Error Corrective and Compressor. In 2008 I released a track called Planet Earth on SunDance records (Australia) and in the last couple of years i have been organising the release of a debut album. Neuromotor, Error Corrective, Rinkadink, Space Monkey, Azax Syndrom, Bliss, Hydraglyph, EVP

DJ RICHIE RICH 1 I have been a DJ for years now thanks to my mum and dad as they were DJ,s Mike K and Linda K and Sandy B of Barbarella Disco when they were younger. I used to go with them to the pubs and clubs of Southampton from the pub the Queens where I used to DJ, so i have grown up with music and being a DJ in my life. I have been on a pirate station called peoples choice radio station 25 years ago that's where I picked up my DJ name from but had to change it a bit because of main bad boy DJ Richie Rich. Iv been on a few other internet stations over the past 3 years in Southampton which was set up again peoples choice radio station and then dirty soundz FM all internet based. I love all kinds of music, but like to mix House, Drum & Bass, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Disco, I have also started to make my own music and remixes of other artists music to. http://samurai.fm/dirtysoundzfmhttp://samurai.fm/pcrs-radio-southamptonhttps://www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-Richie-Rich-1/111642618846318djrichierichone@gmail.com

dual denon 100 decks (a bit beat up lol), alien laptop, traktor pro, dedicated media external drive. and a deep rooted need to bless the decks with the hottest traks. progressive, electronic, movie clips. fx, samples, commercial. a knife, a couple of stacks, and bones, along with some special surprises muahahahahahah.......... paul oakenfold, tiesto, simon cox, armin van burren, chuckie, edx, depeche mode, and countless others past present and future WARNING: ITS ALL ABOUT THE BASS!! ALL UP IN YOUR SORRY FUCKING FACE!!!! its new school with some of that old school flavor, as i try to deliver the best of both worlds my goal will be to take you with me on a journey to the other side with every mix i make, and dance your fucking @ss off. i dont play no soft bullshit if your into hard floor snapping basslines, mind numbing hooks, delicious crescendos, and soulful vocals than you came to the right place. if i achieve what i set out to do cool if not fuck you than. iam not looking to be the best, i dont give a shit about money, fame or awards, or what you think is hot, breaking all the rules here its all about the love and how these beats make me feel and sending them out to whoever wants to listen. if it turns out iam fucking your whole shit up with massive body jacking beats than cool. if not than keep it moving cause my style is an acquired taste, but if your feeling any of my mixes and you go clubbing than you should feel right at home, meaning its been developed from some of the hottest clubs in nyc from pacha nyc to cielo and webster hall, having met numerous djs at these and other venues and learning the ins and outs about keeping a dance floor packed. my mixes are not for your little laptop or family surround sound system, my shit is meant for big fucking speakers that bleed out 1,000 plus watts of pure rhythmic beats. from the first track to the last you never know what iam gonna hit you with, but one things for sure my shit is designed to keep you on your feet, and out of breathe when its over.to be real iam still fairly new at this, though ive been in the music scene for many years. it wasnt until around 2006 that i decided just listening to other djs wasnt enough, i needed to start dishing out my aggression on other dancers. but my endeavers have not been without frustrations, from tossed broken cds to feeling like giving up, never really satisfied with my efforts, and yet i keep coming back, the music calling me driving me to better my audio prowess, and so i continue to try and improve on everything i know, and everything thats needed to fuck you up, from the minute you press play or the second you walk into one of my parties. though ive learned much from my friend and mentor carlos nacimiento whos dj'd across the globe, as well as numerous djs kind enough to pass down there secrets. i still feel the need to elevate my style, and find that missing element to my mixes, and until i do my journey will continue until i become a master of the craft. my passion will always be progressive house, because thats the shit when it comes to fucking up dance floors. but i do like to mix other genres as well when iam in the mood, especially commercial so stop by often to see what ive tried my hand at. but if you download my shit, take the time to comment it doesnt take much, i work hard on these mixes, it takes hours and hours to design them and develop a flow, are they perfect? nope...but they still kick all kinds of ass, and once i get the formula right iam gonna unleash something thats gonna kick and break all kinds of asses near and far, and when you hear the name ominous youll be afraid to hear what i laid out for you, wondering if you can handle it. so that being said if you choose to hang with me while i keep trying to develop and sharpen my own distinct style, chime in with your comments from time to time good or bad i dont give a fuck just let me know whats up. if your following me, follow for more than just my mixes. in time what i envision will come to fruition, and when it does i hope youll be a part of it, if not than fuck off. everybody else welcome and enjoy the ride cause this shit is gonna be epic. rm_f1st('5','220','true','false','381b1b','av01ia1zz9f','true','ff0000');

Never as a youngster in a million years did I ever think I'd be mixing dance tunes .....My love was ( still is a bit ) heavy rock / thrash metal . Seen em all from AC/DC to ZZ Top , it all changed seeing Metallica in 84 tho , then a few years later Slayer. The energy was addictive . Used to make compilation tapes for my friends . It wasn't until attending an Ozric Tentacles concert did it all change again. It was in the very early start to the 90's. Eat Static were support , I witnessed a concert crowd mutate into a full blown dance event , when Static came on. Now , prior my rock / metal days, as a kid , I was brought up on the likes of Bowie , Queen , Donna Summer 10cc , disco and then Jean Michelle jarre . I think those seeds sown as a youngster were suddenly awakened, they surpassed my love of heavy rock that night on the dance floor that night and with Eat Static had me dancing like a loon. I was hooked . I found my groove from moshing and headbanging to dancing non stop . From then on , visited all manner of hedonistic parties. I dicovered goa / psy trance. The parties expanded, likes of Megadog .Return To the source, Otherworld , Earth dance ect ect ...that worm grew . So , as I always loved making mix rock tapes I decided to try ( still trying ) mixing Goa and Psy trance - starting with a pair of Sony discman's onto an old tape deck ! The rest is history . My efforts may not be brilliant , but if at least one of my attempts at mixing catches the ear then its all good . I'm humbled to be able to be given the opportunity to try and mix and share such wonderful , energetic shamanic dance tunes and totally besotted by this genre's sound nearly 30 yrs on . Main flight deck ( spare bedroom static set up ) is made up of a 2 pairs of Pioneer cdj 400's. a djm 800 mixer , recording MP3' ,CD's onto a Reloop 2 Mp3 recorder , no pc , I've also just started separately using a Numark Mixdesk Express ( very impressive ) or a pair of 2nd hand cdj400's & a pioneer DJM 250 Mk 2 mixer . I use the Mixdesk / 400's as a basic set up (at present on the kitchen - table foot injury doesnt permit standing at my main set up, - which drives the mrs mad ) again no pc or Serato , but using Mp3 sticks or cd's onto a Reloop 2 MP3 recorder. I'm amazed at the simplicity of the Reloop recorder - its an enjoyable addition to a set of basic decks. Recently Ive obtained a Numark. Mixdeck go pro . No matter what system tho , I still refuse to use any corrective programs or editing on any set up , so what you hear is totally real, mistakes included , first off mixing -RAW , what you hear is exactly as in the moment BUT thats my own choice. I just hope my efforts tickle the space between your ears . GOA / PSY TRANCE always has , and always will be my altar , my religion . BOOMSHANKA! Love n peace - Oz - Sickrabbit
